In Which the Divagation Store reaches the 900 posts Milestone! Reflection on Why...

Good morning, my friend, dear reader of this present post! How are you today, this new week? It should be the last one for February, quite soothing that it will end on a Sunday as well, given it started on a Sunday, too! As for me, I did sleep quite a bit yesterday, but I cannot complain of not being a productive day, given I finished reading the biography of Madame de Pompadour, written by Nancy Mitford. Quite a good one, and in fact, I would say is a great one! What a remarkable lady she was, the great patronesse of Rococo, though she sensed a move in France towards a more neoclassical direction, and overall set the sails on the direction of the style of the next era, the one called Louis XVI style, though in truth it was the queen Marie Antoinette who truly set the tone. I like this topic, and I love her majesty. Though the late rococo she preferred was hinted with an antique tint, it was not the more sober neoclassical of the 1790's and the Napoleonic era. She brought flowers a...

In which we have a picture of the week! And also, time to make the schedule more flexible?

Hello everyone!! Happy Tuesday to you!! And good Afternoon/night!! How are you today and how are things going? How is the weather where you are? Did you have cake today? Well, where I am, the weather was a bit more fresh today, which is always a blessing, it even rained a bit! I also had a piece of cake, which is also a blessing, as cake is wonderful! Anyway, I hope you are having a good day and you are fine and I always wish you the best. Please forgive me once more for postponing my post once more, this post was ideally supposed to be done yesterday, but I unfortunately couldn't, as I spent most of my day in college and arrived at home tired and with no imagination to write, which sucks. I hate it. And talking about it, there is something more I'd like to say, how about making the schedule more flexible? Usually I make a post on Monday, on Wednesday, a music Friday, and on Saturday... I still want to do four posts, but I may have to adjust this to my new schedule in college, I'm studying at night now, and somedays Afternoon/Night, which is a more heavy one, andd exhausts me and like I said with no imagination to write, creative block. Like, I do a post on Monday, this one can go on a Tuesday too, same with Wednesday, to Thursday. Luckily I'll still have time for the music Friday and the Saturday one, that, if necessary, will be postponed to Sunday. Things would look like this:

MONDAY-TUESDAY: POST (if doens't happen I'll let you know on social media)*

WEDNESDAY-THURSDAY: POST*

FRIDAY: MUSIC OF THE WEEK DAY

SATURDAY-SUNDAY: POST*

Still trying to figure out everything as the year goes by, it is always a process, but I hope I can keep things going and the blog running! I love to write and I love to be here with you guys! And talking about it, let us have our picture of the week!!!

Here we have a lovely set of porcelain pieces that I saw on my trip to the beach house this Carnival season! I don't know if it was bought in together, if it was a gift, if it was randomly gathered in this piece of furninture, but it looks amazing in my eyes anyway, the colors and everything in it, the pattern on the plates, the floral ones, in a nice arts & crafts style, the porcelain in itself, I love porcelain, it is so awesome, and if you notice closely, there is a porcelain small dish entirely handpainted, truly fascinating, I wish I could work with Porcelain one day, it is amazing I think! It is also a shame that these dishes are not used, just for display, but well, it's like most pieces of art, you can't touch it, just see it. I think this is a nice picture to start the week, even on a Tuesday, specially because this mug sounds nice for a coffee or a cup of tea!
And with this we reach the end of this informative post, hope I can keep on writing here and being with you guys, worried that college makes my schedule a bit on air, but anyway, it will be alright.
Thank you so much for being here, you are the very best and you know it! Hope you may keep on having a good day, and I see you next time!
