In Which we Have a nice Tablecloth and 500 grams of Sugar

Good morning to you, my friend, reader of this post! And welcome to the entry of number #700 of my blog!!!!! This is nothing short of crazy! Who in the world would have thought I would, one day, write a small publication that would, nonetheless, reach the total of 700 pages or so! At first, specially witu my month of November starting with me getting ill, I considered I would only reach this milestone next year or so. It turns out, with my recovery, I also recovered my will to write, to read, and to draw, even to play some videogames. True, unfortunately I haven't drawn much this second half of 2023, even with some ideas in my head, and some drawings in progress I ought to finish, at some point. Hopefully I will wrap up November, a month coming to an end tomorrow, with some drawing. Maybe I will also write the wrap up of November tomorrow, I should pray for good tidings... 

This is a Christmas Tablecloth I saw at my grandma's many years ago, and ever since I grew the habit of photographing it! This time, I decided to scan it with my phone, so to have the whole thing with me! This being the final result! Isn't it a glorious piece of domestic embroidery? I myself love it specially because it reminds me of the Russian Silver Age... I am playing through this period in my current Vic3 save, and I reach a point of much challenge. The mass adoption of the telephone by the state caused a huge spike in prices, and the country's debt issue grew. Taxes had to be brought up, and the population is now in turmoil as a result. As much as I am doing my best to squash them, socialism is spreading amongst the radicals, amongst the intelligentsia and the Rural Folk. I am repressing them already, but I am afraid if that is not too little too late, as they are plotting to replace the monarchy with a soviet republic. This mass revultion already claimed victims, such as the Tsar Alexei Romanov, that was assassinated by the terrorists. In order to bring them down, I had to take out some sales taxes, diminishing my revenue. The population is rejoicing, but the country is dangerously closer to a bankruptcy. With that, the state building projects had to be halted... The devs ought to fix this issue where the pops can't build Power plants anymore. They should be able to do that. It is very frustrating, some buildings are very much overinflated, while others don't get enough support. Ideally, the state ought to build nothing at all, but in the game as it is, I still need to do some buildings here and there, because the pops are programmed in the game not to execute such projects... And now the state projects are all halted! Those are harsh moments... but well, at least the population as a whole have less tax burdens now, because most of my authority is being used to neutralize the communist threat, that is very real and spreading more than I can handle. Given those ghastly people with ghastly ideas want to bring down the whole progress I've achieved, with my project of modernizing Russia into a free trade, free market country with rule of law and suffrage, their repression is wholly justified. I can't count how many would die if they ceased power, I can't underestimate how many would be ruined. They ask for the apocalypse, we shall not grant them any wish at all.

Speaking again of tidings, alas, I did not have the best of them, as yesterday I fell down going upstairs, and by very little did not lose my tooth again. Fortunately, I managed to hold myself from falling with my face. Unfortunately, I got a cut in my big foot thumb, and it was a huge bother. Today, I bet I won't be able to attend my hydro gymnastics because of this, to save my thumb from the swimming pool water. Yesterday I also was done with not having sugar for my coffee, so I ordered some from the market. I miscalculated, though, and when the delivery guy arrived with my product, I was absolutely dismayed, the package was huge, the size of a newborn baby! I wanted to order a small 1kg package, and ended up thinking, when I was shopping for what I wanted "I think 100 grams is too little, let's have it 500". In summary, I am never running out of sugar again! Coffees and cakes to follow, so I hope.

Anyway, I trust this is a good point to wrap up today's post? I talked about my misadventures in Vic3, an anecdote, and about the fact we are already on 700 posts on the blog, which is, like I mentioned, insane! What is next for me this Wednesday? I have plans of doing as much as I can with the time I have available. Drawing, if I can, for example. I have a project I am developing with an architecture office, I think I've mentioned before, proceeding with that is imperative, but also a pleasure. And so on... I was thinking of maybe revisiting Empire Earth 2? Who knows... I already scored a win by writing this post! That already makes me quite achieved! What comes next should be a welcoming bonus. 

I also mentioned I should be back to the blog this 30th of November-Tomorrow-for the wrap up of November. I hope I can make it! But if anything, I should be around the first days of December at max, with the wrap up of November, opening of the grand month, and so on. See you real real soon, once again! Wish you the Best!
