In Which we have the Opening of November! Christmas 2025, the one of uncharted territory

Good morning, my friend, dear reader of the present post! I of course wish you a happy Saturday, as November arrives also. I can also say happy belated Halloween! I wish I could have written something for the ocasion, but I was busy for the most of yesterday. I am not sure if I mentioned it, but I was at the glorious mall, that happy place that I don't see it often enough. The occasion was to fix my phone by replacing its battery. This device, the iPhone 11, was purchased in February 2022, so it is close to its 4 years of existence in my hands. Everything still works as intended, except for what does the biggest traction, which is the battery. As such, it had already lost most of its working capacity, and was not doing its things appropriately. There goes I, then, to replace it. Though I do appreciate the shopping halls, I must take care as I am on a budget, in any case, I would be lying if I said it wasn't a bit of a gross misadventure, for the most part. I went there when the mall opened at 10AM, but found out the assistance would only start at 12:40. Had to return home exhausted and frustrated, and that would be it, but my brother arrived to lunch at my grandma's, where I have been staying for the past days, and when he went back home, I asked for a ride to the mall, which he gave. Important thing is, and what improves my mood: the phone was fixed, the battery was replaced. Now I can worry about switching phones with less urgency, that is some quality of life achieved. Other thing waas achieved: I finally engaged in a new book, after a moment of trying out different ones, here and there. Hopefully will talk more on this as I go, I can say it is a page turner, given I took it from 4% to almost 30% completion on the Kindle, as I have been more keen on e-books these days, mostly for the convenience. Could have had something more passionate over its defense, but I think many companies, Amazon, of course, included, have grown too comfortable in their position. I, of course, am quite fond of capitalism, it is my core value, the pillar of my whole being, even. If only those were the values of companies as well... many have adapted to the welfare state around us. Truth is, one way or another, such bad incentives have spread like the plague, and in a numbing miasma, it could suffocate us all, while many even beg to be put to sleep by it. As I am fond of the free market, I am very negative and hostile to welfare, for the immense bad incentives it fosters... Ramble ramble, I know, but I think it is worth to be said once more, and then again after that.

At times I grow frustrated, many that I have grown to hear and appreciate, seemed not to be as passionate about the free market as I am. As the year of the A-POP-Calypse unfolds to its last set of days, and we wonder how long it will last, and one era only is over when we have gone through it and see it from a distance, we are thrown into the age of Advance Computing, the marketing folk call it AI. I have been writing about it since I was marveled by its image generation advances specially since March of this 2025, the year has lasted a second and 10 decades in the space from the 3rd to now, at the gates of a new Christmas season. What an enchanting tool, really, and this is what causes nuance to be more needed and at times more painful to give, as we barely got into AI, I already feel fatigued by it. Dare I say, spoiled even, and as such, growing more demanding of better results, and more skeptical whenever they will come, while wishing they won't, a machine you cannot throw out a window is quite scary, isn't it... I understand many companiess, that I have no hate towards, except when they become almost like a state, and present themselves with bureocracy, have fallen in love with the machines. My issue is that, even if the tool is good, when the image grows too crisp, the pixels show, the colors don't blend in anymore, and I smell a bubble. I smell overconfidence in a tool that can also be demanding and can be hard to manipulate, even more frustrating like the old architecture softwares I had the misfortune of finding when in my time at Architecture school. Nuance, of course, Many are declaring the end is nye because many are losing their jobs, and at times the news are too loud to just turn off immediately, but then again, the market distortions, the whole horrid era of DEI, of ESG, all the evil lecturings, all the cultural marxism. Though the consequences of such evil set of years will continue for a while more, and the mechanisms are still ongoing while they don't implode completely, it certainly feels like the nominal epoch of DEI is no longer on its golden days. We are at the A-POP-Calypse, after all, for this reason.

Closing the post, it becomes harder to say the tool of AI and the image generation as a revolt against those horrid artists of the establishment, but not because the horrid have become more bearable, but because it seems AI will become the establishment, though one cannot say for certain, as I also mention, it is like a bubble, and I am sort of fatigued of it at times.  It is the dawning of Christmas in an uncharted territory, hard to say if it will be the same. With this, I wrap today's post! There is more to talk about, but this one is quite big, I don't want to bore you further. I do hope I may see you again soon, though! Real soon, hopefully at some point this new week, until then, happy new November, enjoy the thanksgiving days that I will be taking part as well, and the Christmas, and what is left of Halloween, tis the season! See you again real real real real soon so no worries.
