Hello everyone!! Happy Monday to you, and Good Afternoon! I'm here heading towards 4PM, as I write this post on my blog! We're on the apex of Summer, days are as hot as they could be, even though I had lovely rain yesterday and also today, so that's lovely, but well, moving on. Also, the sun is setting later, sometimes at 6PM we can still read a book on a plainfield just nicely, with any lights turned on. How odd the universe is, honestly, I love it. I still feel Christmas on the air, and I'll try to hold on to that until the next season. The whole theme of my notebook and phone in fact are Christmas but aa bit more subtle and faded, like, snow, a bit of red, a bit of green, some season decoration, but not the whole "Deck the Halls" spirit of December, if I'd extend that, it would become boring, it is special precisely because it has a date to happen, which is in the later of the year. In fact, January feels like a blank canvas, I kind of like that, though it can be sad, boring and plain, I just have to keep living life though. Holidays are special, but blank months such as January, September and May are special in its own merits.
So today I have a very special character for you guys to meet! I saw this statue on the furniture store recently, as I was washing my eyes with all the beauty and the details of it. I was with family, so it was even nicer! Well, as I was walking, I saw this bulldog statue, and I fell in love with it! Let me just share it with you guys so you all can see what I'm talking about!
Here he is on all his greatness! Mr. Bulldog, a very serious dog, with his nice tie and his wonderful tophat that I loved so much!!! I love cats so much, but I quite like dogs a lot as well! I saw so many conflicts between cats and dogs around me as a child, I thought I had to pick a side. Well, since 2015 and so on I decided: to the hell with it, I like both. Cats and dogs, honestly are so great, though I'm more of a cat person, I have to say. Well, I do love this statue though, the proud and quirky face of Mr. Bulldog standing tall and judging everyone around with his small but wit eyes. Mr. Bulldog is lazy and likes to lay down, but he's very alert, and he's not to fond of nonesenses. But Mr. Bulldog won't do anything about it, and neither finds necessary to do so, he just carries with his life. "If people want to be silly, let them be, as long as they leave me alone", I think that sounds fair with Mr. Bulldog, I wonder what his job is, he indeed has a feeling of grandeur in him, his walk is imposing, the way he breathes is lovely, I do like Mr. Bulldog, I think he's extraordinary.
I love to find those things on stores, they set my thoughts on fire, they're indeed lovely, thank Goodness they exist! Definitely adorable! This is my first post here going more freely from the Christmas theme, which is weird but well, it's a blank canvas, hopefully the final picture of January may be a nice one, but that we'll only see from the distance, probably. Let's just keep on going, like that person that told me to just go with the flow told me to, those concerns do me absolutely no good, in fact they kill me. They'll keep on killing me for a long time still, but well, when they're not that strong, I just have to enjoy it. This is part of the go with the flow actually, right? Well, anyway...
