In Which the Blog reach 950 posts! A lovely Holiday Season approaches!

Good morning, my dear friend, and I wish you a happy Wednesday! How are you, this fine hour? As for me, I am okay, just waking up, really. The weather here is one of quiet transition, to spring. I can still use thicker blankets, but the days are longer, and the sun is more bright. Not exactly a good thing, I don't like summer, that is approaching. The only saving grace is to have Christmas season also upon us, the season of 2026! And all the memories of happy summer vacations, with the christmas trees and the great deal of lovely santas around it. Grandma used to go all in for the decor. How I miss it... I pray I can emulate it, when I can. Today, grandma is 82 years old, she is aging, as it rarely can be helped. She is tired, and she lives in an apartment nowadays, as such, she does not do the Christmas stuff as vigorously as some years before, alas.  There is no such thing as forsaking the long holiday tradition just because "times changed", whatever that means. No. Jus...

In Which we have the Christmas Avenue

Good morning, dear reader of this post! Happy FRIDAY! And wish you the best!!! How is the weather where you are? I have some friends up in the north suffering a lot with the cold. We all know I love cold and dream of a Christmas winter wonderland, BUT that being said, there is something as too cold, and I hope they may keep well dressed for it. As for me, it's always hot, unfortunately, but I won't be too unfair with the weather, it rained a lot yesterday and it was pleasant! Hopefully today will stay the same, who knows? Today I just wanted to, as usual, do an impromptu post, on how the Christmas decorations of 2021 came to be! Unfortunately, apart from my drawings, we don't have many in my apartment, mom is not much of a Christmas person, I am, however, as you guys know, and at grandma's it's always teeming with this theme! My grandma is a very christian person, follower of the Baptist branch of the religion, which I sympathize, though I am not particularly religious, so she really whims on the decoration, to celebrate the birth of Jesus!

Christmas Decoration at grandma's came in waves this year, somewhat late if you ask me. Well, better have them late than not at all! First it came the wreaths and the leafs of the Tannenbaums, the hollies of the arrangements. Then the tree, this year White and Red, reminds me of Austria, which is a lovely place, lots of mountains and croissants, and coffee, and sugary sweets! Of course, the tree came with the santas and all the wonderful stuff underneath it! The gifts, however, for a long time haven't been in it. Today, the best gifts are perfumes and digital gadgets, some books, and money and clothing, none of this goes too well in a Christmas tree, they are not the toys of the past, so expected. Children used to be weird seeing value in some very unpractical objects, but those days are mostly gone in my household, gone are the dolls, even tabletop games are hard to find, we love our phones and gadgets instead, as it should be, it gives us a lot of freedom! I thought they were only putting one Christmas tree this year, but fortunately I was wrong, I went to get some stuff I forgot at grandmas and could see they put up a second Christmas Tree in the varanda, so wonderful! It was a Christmas avenue indeed, the path for this year's celebration! Alas, not much of new is to be found amongst the decoration, because my grandma said she didn't find anything worth getting this season, such a sham e. Fortunately we thrive with what we have, and we have plenty for yet another wonderful Christmas, and it is already being as magical as always! All according to plan!

What are you getting this Christmas? I got some RAM, hopefully I'll maybe get some clothes as well, at least I hope so, and perhaps the desk for my bedroom may finally arrive! I hope before the new year! I will love to return to drawing in my house, instead of relying to the times I go to my grandmas. It could be amazing, and I'm sure it will be! One step at a time! Also will have yet more freedom to stream if I feel like it, which is also pretty great! Speaking of which, I did some of it yesterday and it went swimmingly! Hopefully another day I'll do it as well! Like I said, one step at a time!

Indeed I should ask my mom about the clothes and the desk, though I also don't want to annoy her! With that, I believe this post is done, I'm happy with it, so let's wrap it up for today, shall we? Thank you so mucn for being around, my friend! I've been writing more than the past few months this December, and I believe that is really nice! Anyway, see yall real soon!
