In Which Fortunately Life Keeps On Moving

Good evening, my friend, reader of this post! How are you? Hope your new month started okay! How is the weather, now that the seasons are moving to another moment? As for me, I am okay, I'd say. Tepid... the month started slowly, yet it is not that promising, given the college discipline for this month seems to be very hard to execute. I am concerned with my woes and laments because they seem hard to deal with. But, overall, I suppose I am okay.  I hope I can work on a drawing real soon. I keep mentioning it, as to bring the moment closer. I detest that feeling of "my next drawing will be my last one". I hate it, but given the work they take, and given I don't even know how to draw properly, and I tried to at least get some classes on it, yet my mind never stays with me while I try to do it. Not sure exactly what causes such confusion. Drawing for me is intense, it is a physical activity, and very filled with adrenaline and at times I feel exhausted afterwards. I am r...

In which the author IS OFFICIALLY ON VACATION and out of ideas for today

Hello everyone! Today is a beautiful day, and why is that, since it also happens to be a Monday*? Well... TODAY IS MY FIRST DAY ON VACATION!!! YESSS!!! FINALLY!!!! I know, I was techinically on vacation since last Friday, as I told you, BUT I still had a class today, and I went to take the last test of the semester.
I would be oficially totally relaxed and enjoying the rainy days of June (not so rainy so far for some reason, but I'm hopeful!) since last week, but unfortunately I couldn't get the necessary pontuation for me to pass in Technical Drawing III, one of the subjects of my course, so I had to take another test, so I could replace my worst grade and get the necessary pontuation to be approved in the discipline, the alternative would be me flunking in the discipline. If that happened, I'd have to do the whole thing again at my earliest opportunity, aka not a happy ending. But here's to the happy ending: I GOT 8 OUT OF 10 IN THIS TEST, SO I'M APPROVED! I MANAGED TO SURVIVE TECHNICAL DRAWING AFTER ALL! This is something that made me really relieved and happy!
And here we are, the dreamy days of vacation are here, to stay until next month! I'll do my best to keep my schedule that I mentioned earlier: a post on monday, wednesday, and Saturday! I'm thinking about making Friday the "song of the week" day, though... Anyway, the bad news is I'm totally out of ideas on what to post today, so here we have me just having a monologue on my small success. To be fair, I'd have done something else, but the idea I had in mind was a post on my issues with writing, not the best way to start a vacation, so let's have this one postponed, shall we? BUT, since we're here, let me show something to you guys, to say this post went to somewhere!
This is a small sketch I made a month ago, but only managed to finish it yesterday! Sometimes it can be a really slow process to draw something. And I decided to do something risky, which is use color pencils for the sky, instead of the pastels I've been using since I learned how to use them on April. I thought it would be a disaster but I think in the end things went A-okay! And that's it for today! I'll do more posts on drawing and on drawing materials soon if I can, though I'm not a professional, anyway I'm really glad to have you here! See you soon!

*Important to say, don't have Monday as your enemy! Start the week with the best mindset you can, something I try to do. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I don't, but things are fine! Also, usually for me Tuesdays are worse than Mondays, but anyway, life is beautiful!
