In Which I commend the work done by the Book Redeeming the West

Good morning, my friend! I wish you a happy Friday and a happy Weekend! You also let me know if you are well, and if the weather where you are is pleasant, I hope that may be the case. This post is going to be a complement to the one of yesterday, August 20th of 2026. I really wanted to do so, and I am happy I could do it! It will be a bit of a long set of well earned and worth expressing compliments to the work of the authors I am going to mention, I would love to jump right into it! So, shall we? I did mention yesterday this incredible book I had the most privilege of reading/listening to, as I went for the audiobook. Redeeming the West: A Christian Argument for Reason and Individualism, written by Cody Lilbot, that I follow on Twitter/X, Jacob Brunton, and Ryan Graber, does the much important move that I had thought of, on my own, isolated, before. It bridges the gap between the Objectivism of Ayn Rand, and a true and in depth interpretation of the Bible and of christian ethics, sho...

In which I share a sketch I made because of a dream!

And hello again! The dream week reaches its peak! Dreams are indeed a powerful force, and they can be overlooked! Some decisions we make in real life and some stuff we do can be influenced by dreams! I think I already talked about this on another post, but oh do I love to repeat myself!
So, it comes with no surprise that sometimes the drawings and texts you do, and the music you listen, can 100% be influenced by dreams as well! In fact, Blake Shelton's song Savior's Shadow was inspired by a dream he had! He's only one of the examples for this!
I am no Blake Shelton, of course, nor do I intend to be, not only because Blake is Blake, the king of Country music, the head of the Country Mafia, you do NOT want to compete with that, but also because every human being is unique, so you cannot have two versions of the same person, you are your own person, and that's a great thing, no one can be you either! Plus, I can't sing, not even in shower, so yes, minor detail.
One thing I have with Mr. Shelton though is that we both did something inspired by a dream! In my case, one or two of my sketches were inspired by them! I want to show you guys one of them!

This is a character I did back in June, on the first month of my blog! He's Mr. Synklisi! Means confusion in Greek, and he's indeed a very odd person! His hair is as orange as a mature orange, and unfortunately he's as acid as an orange as well, though he can be sweet, and like a good orange juice when he's around, and when he's your friend, your days won't need any kind of sugarcoat, he's your guy to help you out with everything and make you happy, THOUGH if you get his friendship, he's close, sarcastic and a very complicated human being, it's really hard to cope with him. He can be considered a victim of himself sometimes, he lost lots of opportunities because of his temper, and he doesn't make too much effort to deal with himself, but anyway, that's just Mr. Synklisi, what else is there to say?
He was inspired by a dream I had, a figure that was in my mind, on the next day I thought "why not drawing him?". On the same day Mr. Struggleshire was born as well, so that was indeed a productive day, sometimes dreams can break you, those awful nightmares you can have, but they can improve your life a lot and inspire you to have nice ideas!
Now is official, this is it for today! Thank you so much for being here! See you next time!!
