In Which Life is not SimCity: Washington Square and the Austrian Connection

Good morning, dear friend! Here I return with some more thoughts and ideas about urban planning and so on. I tend to avoid writing so much all at once, but it cannot be helped as I had this idea in mind, I would love to share! Of course, I want first to ask how are you, how are things? As for me, I am a bit fatigued, but not too bad. I pray and hope today can be productive, I want to make some effort and go deliver some documents at the school and hopefully I may find if I can have an internship or not. The weather is miserable, summer ends with a strong and unbearable moist heat, the worst kind. Hope you are havinf a better temperature time today. With that being said, would love to explore this thought I had, as follows: I think I could have mentioned before, I am reading this excellent book by the writer Jane Jacobs, Death and Life of Great American Cities, and it got me thinking that simulation games have really little to do with real life, have they? Music of the Week! In which we wonder: was all of this For Nothing?

And hello again!!! After the album of the month, time for the song of the week, our last of August!! The day is still fresh, I'm still on my slippers, and I hope you're still fine!
Today I wanted to bring a song by one of my favorite artists: Riley Elmore!! He was my absolute favorite on season 11, back in 2016, and I became a mad fan of his, and I still am! Riley is just superb, but if I start talking on him this post will be much bigger than I was intending too, so let's just leave the appreciation post for later, for now we wonder: was all of this For Nothing?

Here's Riley, btw

He released this song recently, and I was very excited and curious to hear it, cause he's amazing and I'm such a fan! I was expecting something Jazz from him, since he's a jazz singer, instead the song has a lot of R&B and it's much more like a modern pop song or a contemporary jazz, it was something I wasn't expecting, so it took me a while to get comfortable with it.
But listening to it for the third time, I was completely sure that song was fantastic! Riley's voice is so soft and subtle and milky, I love it so much, and in this song we experience it at its best! The lyrics are nice and the whole track is really well produced!! I cannot wait to see what he's coming next, cause he's so wonderful!!!! I definitely should make an appreciation post on him very soon!
And if you don't have Spotify don't worry! The song is also on Soundclock, and you can listen to it right here!

And that is it for today!!! Thank you so much for following me on this musical Friday!! You're the best!! And let's say Goodbye to this very nice August! Hope 2019's August be fine too!
