In Which I go to town to see Marty Supreme: quite a movie!

Good morning, my dear friend, dear reader of this post, you fine lady, you fine gentleman! Cheers! How are you? Hope you are okay? It has been a week that went by faster than one would expect! I was wanting to write a post earlier than now, and I had a draft, but it was getting too big, and too many threads of thinking going into it, and it would be far out of the scope of a blog post to cover all that I was loosely writing about, it was too big and tiresome to read, too hard to find a finishing line, so I did what I don't usually do and scrapped the whole post, not an easy nor a decision I took lightly, but it was needed, or else the post would just keep dragging on. That said, I am okay. Monday I was pretty melancholic, so this Tuesday I could go to the movies, for the first time since The Phoenician Scheme, which was a good excuse to get out of the house, though the movie disappointed.  I went to the movies, got my ice cream, then popcorn, and also bought a bottle of eau de toil...

Song of the week! In which the author tells the reader some bedtime Stories

Good Afternoon of Friday to you, dear reader! How are you today? How are things going? As usual, I wish you the best! I'm so happy to have you here today on this song of the week Friday! As you know, I'm having a dream week, and the song we're seeing today of course is going to be related to that! We're having our known and dear (though only in our hearts, she's not too dear actually, and proud of not being a dear, but ANYWAY, LET'S SEPARATE THE PERSON'S PERSONAL LIFE AND BEHAVIOR FROM THE PERSON'S WORK PLEASE)  guest: MADONNA, so we can join her in her album BEDTIME STORIES, so we can have a BEDTIME STORY!

As you guys know, this very overlooked album by her is very close to my heart, the whole aesthetic of it fits me very well, with the pastel colors and subtle sounds and sleepy soft reference, definitely eye candy and ear candy as well! This song is absolutely fantastic, being very unique and inventive, as also is Madonna, no one can say she's not unique and inventive, she can pick everything, even saturated themes, and make them fresh and interesting, with no hint of Cliché or tacky, even if the "everything" in question includes cliché and tacky things. Anyway, it's a very soft and subtle song, with an R&B background and a relaxing, sensorial hypnotizing eletronic beat, one of the best pop songs I heard in the last 10 months, I can get tired of it sometimes, but I never 100% stop listening to it, it has it's safe spot in my mind! I think you might like it as well, cause who knows? Give it a chance if you want to, you're totally invited to do so! And if you want to look for it but don't have Spotify do not distress, I have the Youtube link to it right here!

I have another post coming today from a sketch I made because of a dream, but for now this is the end of this post! Thank you so much for being here, you're 100% the best and please do never doubt that! Let's close this post with the cover of Bedtime Stories, because wow what a fantastic cover
