In Which the Late Permian Triassic Event is Mentioned again, as a more appropriate name to the A-Pop-Calypse

Good afternoon, dear friend, reader of this post! Happy Friday! How are you, today? I am okay, I'd say, the weather has been amene, which is rare to say, given I live in a tropical landscape. God bless winter, it is my favorite season. Apart from that, yesterday I went to see my dear Psychiatrist, dr. Francis, and it was a very positive appointment. I am fond of Dr. Francis and we talked about many things that contributed to my treatment of chronic OCD, and my mild but still requiring attention autism diagnosis. He prescribed me a medication to aid on my current wave of, what it turned to be, depression. The improvement over my mood has been, on the first day anyway, quite positive! I am much more disposed than I was yesterday. I can at least have the desire to do things again. Whatever chemical imbalance that could have been causing woes in my mood and how to respond to it, that has been mitigated, it is a positive move! Cheers for that and my gratitude to Dr. Francis. Song of the week! In which we wish we could turn back in time

Hello everyone! Happy Friday to you!!! As you know, time for song of the week! Wow, can't believe we're already on August 17, the month of August is going fast, I think! Soon the summer will be back, but at this point it doesn't make a difference, it's hot just like it was summer already!
So, today we'll be seeing one of my favorites by Cher, that musical chamaleon! It's not only one of my favorites, but also at this point one cultural classic! Yes, if you saw the title of this post you probably already guessed what tune I'm talking about! If I Could Turn Back Time, of her Heart of Stone album of 1989!!

Cher is definitely an icon that spreads through so many musical genres! In this particular one, on her rock period, she gave us a powerful song on asking for forgiveness and how words we say can impact a relationship in bad ways. Guess we all had those moments, like she say in the song "words are like weapons, they wound sometimes", something we heard time and time again, and at some levels became a clichĂ©, but a very truthful one. Unfortunately we can't go back in time -yet- BUT that doesn't mean we can't wish for it and sing about it, am I right?? Also, her whole outfit for this song and this period of her career became iconic, she's indeed a fashion icon as well! If you don't have Spotify do not worry, I have the Youtube link right here with me!

This very nice song and this very nice artist is what we have for today!! I'm so happy to be here! Hope you enjoyed it as well!! See you next time!!
