In Which I go to town to see Marty Supreme: quite a movie!

Good morning, my dear friend, dear reader of this post, you fine lady, you fine gentleman! Cheers! How are you? Hope you are okay? It has been a week that went by faster than one would expect! I was wanting to write a post earlier than now, and I had a draft, but it was getting too big, and too many threads of thinking going into it, and it would be far out of the scope of a blog post to cover all that I was loosely writing about, it was too big and tiresome to read, too hard to find a finishing line, so I did what I don't usually do and scrapped the whole post, not an easy nor a decision I took lightly, but it was needed, or else the post would just keep dragging on. That said, I am okay. Monday I was pretty melancholic, so this Tuesday I could go to the movies, for the first time since The Phoenician Scheme, which was a good excuse to get out of the house, though the movie disappointed.  I went to the movies, got my ice cream, then popcorn, and also bought a bottle of eau de toil...

Sketch of the week!!! In which I share with you guys my new creation that I made using Paint 3D!

Hello everyone!!! Happy Wednesday to you all!!! How are you today and how are things going?? As usual, I wish you the best, and I do hope you're having a good day! So, guys, in this hot night of October the third, I decided to really put my new orientation into practice today! Welcome to Sketch Wednesday! And what we have today is a "masterpiece" made by me just now! It's the Storm in the fall season, and it was made using Paint 3D! Feast your eyes!

Okay, ironies aside, at some point in August of this year I made my first "sketch" in Paint, my first one after 10 years since I stopped using this iconic program to kill time. Like Pinball from the now legendary Windows XP, Paint was something in my childhood, I really took drawing into it seriously, even though the results were mediocre at best (hey I was like 8 years old!). I had tons of fun though, so I guess this is what matters! Paint stopped being a part of my life and I didn't even realize this fact. I basically only use it to edit some screenshots and to make some small adjustments, but I never draw in it anymore. I'm not the only one that forgot about Paint I guess, as tablets and smartphones came over, and also internet become way more spreaded and children having more access to it (bare in mind I could only create my e-mail when I was like 11 years old, back in 2010, I see some children today using Instagram having like 6 years old), and also the fact that computers are more powerful and you can do a lot of fun stuff into it (when I was a kid, the most powerful computer had like 4GB of memory, DVD drivers didn't exist and having an average videocard was a luxury. Sometimes playing CIVILIZATION III in the computer could be too much for the system), I guess using Paint to draw was becoming a dead art, just like writing letters and making calls on the phone. I heard recently that Microsoft ended the app once and for all, replacing it by the fancier Paint 3D. Thousands of people (many of them generations after the Paint era) came to cry crocodile tears in the internet and express their empty outrage by the decline of Paint. Well, I was not one of them.
But, it came to happened that I rediscovered Paint recently, it's a very naive and funny way to make silly and ugly drawings that we love no matter what, cause they represent the triumph of your hand over how tricky is to draw with mouse. And today I made this! I didn't post it because it's beautiful, I just wanted to laugh a little and do something without the pressure of "I want to try my best" and without the time consuming practice of drawing using physical objects like pencils and pens. This is my sketch of the week, and this is the one opening this season of sketches!!
Thank you so much for reading my silly thoughts, if you're still here you're the best, and if you're not thank you so much for even opening this post! I'm happy to be here writing this post!!! And I think this is it for today! See you guys next time, yahoo!
