In Which poor Writing Tropes can sour one's soul

Good morning, my friend, dear reader of this post, and how happy I am to see you, on this Wednesday. How have you been? I always try my best to keep a semblance of writing rhythm when it comes to this journal-blog and so on, but at times it is hard to organize my thoughts. At times it is just sidetracking issues, my mind drift someplace else. So, as always, accept my gratitude for being here, I never take it for granted! Hope your day is okay. As for my own, the past few days were not a disaster! In fact, I think I am fine enogh, for the most part. I think the tropes of writing are very damaging when someone thinks they can be applied to real life, as well. Just picture this: at times, specially for the least for the less imaginative, a story to keep going, when things are alright for the protagonist, the writer, unknown invisible force on the story, throw things at this happiness to ruin it, so the point can get across. It is cheesy in a narrative to have such rhythm. But it gets even...

In which we talk about the post-Anno era!

Good morning, reader of this post, and happy Wednesday! The half of the week, wow, it's going fast, huh? How are you today, how are things going? As for me, I'm alright, and the weather is varying between rainy and hot, as Summer is coming and spring is upon us! The season of flowers, where I live we don't see that as much, oh how tepid the tropics are... And you guys are probably having Fall season with its beautiful oranges as well! Here we don't have much of fall either.

Well, season 3 of Anno 1800 is drawing to a close, we know that everything good must come to an end at some point, they are still going to release some awesome cosmetic DLCs, bnt that's it. I don't know what's next for the game, so it's, for now, clear we are on a post-Anno 1800 era. The new series of content made me madly into this amazing game, that I already was into before, but in an entirely different way. With the game I'm mostly wrapping up on Anno, one of my most successful so far, in which I built two super big and prosperous cities, with the AI and everything in the match, I don't know how to proceed with that save, as I did pretty much what I wanted with it, and it's one of those successful saves we really don't want to ged rid of. I could, of course, expand my mechanized farms in the New World to my island of Socorro Deus, I could go do the missions in the Arctic, those can be fun. I could expand my museum in Cape Trelawney, the ideas come when I squeeze them, but also, there are other games I'd like to try, that I haven't played much in a while, such as The Sims 4, I just got the content I was missing in it, such as the Cottage Living Expansion pack, the Dream Home Decorator Game Pack, and some extra stuff... There is Age of Empires III, Age of Empires II with my friends, I could also play some Humankind or revisit Civilization V... Lots to be done indeed! Lots to be done that I just don't do when I'm on my Anno moments. I chatted about this with Taka a bit ago.

Also, to add to this post I'm doing, I'd like to apologize for not posting as much these days, I've been having a backlash against schedules these days. I don't want to become a pro-streamer, or a pro-blogger at the moment, so I don't think there is a reason for me to update things as much as I do. I have no intention of abandoning the blog, however, so you can rest assured new posts will come for the foreseeable and unforeseeable future! As for streaming, it gets more complicated, cause blogging and streaming are different things, but well... One step at a time, it is not of my doing to do radical definitive steps, burning bridges is not something I like to do.

I believe with this, the post can be finished, so I'd like to thank you for being here, dear reader, and to wish you the very best, and that I see you real real soon!
