In Which we Open March 2026 with Hope! A better future for Iran is at hand?

Hello, my dear reader of the present post, and my good friend! Happy month of March! And happy Tuesday! How are you, today? How have you been? As for me, I am quite okay. I slept through most of yesterday, felt sleepy after a doctor appointment with not so great news. Perhaps a reason I wanted that rest, as I did feel exhausted with the relatively bad news. It is not exactly too bad, neither unexpected, it is just weight gain above average for the months. After a good season of losing weight consistently and quite strongly, life resumes its course. I underwent the bariatric surgery and I thought that was it forever. For better or worse, that is not the case. My stomach is fortunately smaller, and it does require extra care, but mostly, apart from that, now I eat and feel no pain, snacks return to be a source of comfort and good texture. That is not exactly all for the best. The discomfort was an imposed brake, and without that, at times, I don't know exactly when to stop. Every inc...

In Which I talk about my new Succulent, Plants, Stories...

Good morning to you, reader of this post, and happy Wednesday! Wish you the best! How are you? How are things going? A lot can happen in a couple dozen hours, that is for sure! I was talking about my new plant yesterday, if I'm not mistaken, as I usually don't read my posts twice, for a number of reasons, like, I don't wanna be overly critical of my words, it's just an improv thing, after all. And I don't feel like revisiting my own posts, either, it's that thing, I rarely read the same book twice. What's the point of going through a story over and over again? Sometimes I do some read agains, like on my more dedicated stories, such as "Mr. D'Onofrio and his 700 socks" or the "Over the Garden Wall" Fanfic. I want to return to the story realm, but I also don't want to overthink it. Takes a while to develop a plot, when it comes at all, even. Some of my smaller works are just invented-history-writing, which I think it's cool, but not properly a story. I also like to write things based on dreams and I've done it before, and some of those I really enjoy. Maybe I should write about Mr. A trying to get to point B, but there is always something on the way, such as that Lupin III episode, where he wants to get to a special statue, but there are a lot of obstacles on the way, being vague because if I go too much into details I could spoil anything. I know is like a 40-something-year show, but still. So, back to plants, I took a more decent picture of the plant, and I'd like to share it with you all! Let's jump to it, shall we?

Quite lovely, isn't it? It is called "the Bear Paw", scientifically called "Cotyledon tomentosa". It takes a while to develop, and it doesn't require much water at all, in fact, I plan on watering it just next month or so, around July 10th? Yea, something of the sort. I don't like keeping my plants without water for too long, BUT succulents, they are desert plants, so they don't need much water, in fact, they drown if they receive too much of it! Their roots become putrid, and the whole thing perish. I learnt that the hard way, losing many of my favorites over the years... But now, I'm getting better at taking care of them, you just gotta give them "water space" so to speak. I want to go to the next level and grow a Conifer, at some point, but those are harder, I believe they require daily care with water, that is something that can be tricky for many, myself included. Speaking of growing, I think I got myself way more comfortable with writing than I was before, when starting to write for the blog. My posts used to be smaller, now I need to stop myself from writing or else the thing goes forever, that's kind of a development, I believe, I'll take it like that, at least. I'm also happy I wrote a post today! This June is being fairly productive, I'd say, so yay, that's a good way to celebrate my 4 years of blogging! And speaking of which, I hope I can do something else to celebrate such moment, a stream, perhaps. At some point I wanna do it. Could be today, but I really don't wanna force myself. Either way, I should get going now, thank you, dear reader, for being around, you are a wonderful friend! See you again real real soon! Hopefully way before the end of the month. I plan on having at least one or two posts before the 30th, when I'll have the wrap up of June. which will count for 11-13 posts this month, quite the production, don't you think? And quality stuff as well! Anyway, have a wonderful Wednesday, see you real soon!
