In Which a Train of Thought is Kept Longer than it usually is... A short comment on the Nature of Work as well

Good morning, dear friend, reader of this present post! Tell me, how are you? How is the weather? For me, it is the coldest it has been in a year or so. 21 Celsius, and I must say, I love it. I want to enjoy every minute of it, it will likely not be as cold anytime soon. And I am okay, though again, a lot of mental turbulence due to specially loneliness. I am affected by trauma also, and I really prefer not to use such word, it risks raising the level of hyperbole, and devaluing the rest, but I have no other word for it, it is trauma, and it exhausts me, it is like a pike in my brain, I hate it, it hurts physically. Of course, when I write such vulnerable line, I risk attracting some bad thought by someone, that desires to analyze my every move. I don't like that. Instead, this is just about some sad events over the course of high school and hints of it after, with some bad interactions on social media. This is not to invite scrutiny over my ideals, they are my own in spite of the ...

In Which I say belated Happy Independence day, America!

Good morning, dear reader of this post, my awesome friend! How are you? How are things going? I'm okay, I mean, I decided to delete my save files in Europa and start over, once again! Sometimes you do that, I mean, I had a run with France that went so well by the end of it I was freaking bored, I had a run as Florence that I formed Italy, but kinda got bored with it because there was no other place left to expand/nothing else to do, really, and this run I was having with Austria that I decided to just abandon because my war with the Ottomans was going terrible, and at that point I was also at a war with France that was going horrible as well. It wasn't because I went with too much thirstyness to the pot either, it's because I took a chance, and it really didn't pay out. Europa is a game of taking chances, at the end of the day, and sometimes they end up with you broken in many ways, many places. And when you play the game on IronMan, you can't press the "undo" button, which I actually think is absolutely correct, like, Europa would become really tedious, really not a game worth playing if every mistake you made could just be undone! I mean, my take on it, you can very much disagree and that is okay. I mean,,, we had that convo before, on the blog, when I was kinda ranting against sweaty gamers. It's that situation that my friend complained about with me, about me also wanting to say what was the right way of playing the game, if I go on this rabbit hole this post will be about that, yet again, but that's not the point of this post, the point of this post is to just say Happy July 4th to America! Happy Independence day! It's a common theme on the blog, but one I couldn't touch on this July 4th because I was kinda having a lazy day. To be fair, the two first days of this week were very lazy to me. Now, after taking my time, I'm here again! I mean, it's a common pattern, I may stay away from some things I love for a long time, like when I wasn't properly drawing in the period of August 2019-May 2020. I am not drawing as mucb this period as well, but well, I still really like drawing, and still get excited when looking at drawing materials or gear to draw. Anyway, another recurring theme on the blog! I'd like to this time, though, to wrap all the things together, to say Happy Independence day, America! And I'm doing it with my favorite American Icon: Garfield!
Another picture taken in 2014, by a phone with a decent camera, one of my Best of Instagram. I love Garfield since before I can remember! This cat has my heart and also the one of many all over the world, and that include many americans! I don't say Garfield represent America, but it certainly reminds me of that suburban heaven, that ideal American life that is so peaceful, so put together, that one can't help growing overweight and complaining about Mondays even if your job doesn't suck. Or, coming to Jon, having such a life devoĂd of issues that your life becomes taking care of your spoiled, but lovely, cat, that looks down on you, but well, we love cats anyway! It is that America that seems a bit faded today, with so many problems the country face, from the socialism nightmare that attracts so many of the nightmare addicted youngs, the socialism nightmare that torns the country apart dangerously to the point of collapse. And I mean socialism from the left, with its fever dreams of rebuilding society from scratch, because what we have today is rotted to the core (I mean, that's their crooked take on things), but also the less commented Socialism from the right, too, the one of the founder of Gab, I'm thinking about, one that wants to see a religious-driven America to come to life, one idealized on an American past, that isn't either the one of the left, or the one of this room of the right, because I won't call those religious driven folk alt-right, because they are not, or will say all religious folk are on this category, because they are far from it. Right-wingers come in all shapes and sizes, as leftist-wingers also comes in different shapes and sizes, though in a different way, and they like to say they are an homogeneous group more than right-wingers like to call themselves an homogeneous group, anyway. This complex ramble, I could say, is the one that has America invested in so much, their cultural peryls are very difficult to solve, as society becomes more decentralized (if there is such thing as society in the first place) we have people that won't see eye to eye with others... i can't even say Garfield unite us all, but well, on this 4th July week, we should remember that Garfield, as also is America, is an ideal worth striving for, the ideal of liberty to pursue your life, the idea of private property, something you own, so you can achieve independence with it, and all with the idea of happiness and a relatively peaceful existence, so you can have your life more prone to complain about lesser things and your worst concern will be having to check what you eat. That kind of problem is way better than many on other places have to face, and one world that America is starting to have the risk of losing. I hope I made some sense with this... but well, this is the divagation store, I won't make much sense sometimes, but writing is something I enjoy doing! But it's also time to wrap things up for today because I have written so much! So, I see you guys real real soon, for another dose of my divagations, in this divagation store! Love yall! And again, happy July the 4th!
