In Which I do an Impromptu set of thoughts on a video I did watch on the topic of AI

Good evening! I was not planning on writing a post per se, I already did one recently, I usually take a few days to cool off, but given the material I will mention later, I had improvised thoughts I wanted to share! I ask first how are you. And I ask how is the weather. Here, it is lovely cool, with the cooler wind, and the kind rain. It is a nice position to write a post in. So, let us jump to my thoughts, this should likely be a bigger one. We'll see! As follows: Yesterday I watch a video of someone I appreciate, and it turned towards the topic of Artificial Intelligence. I have mentioned before I am not entirely sold on it, due to the costs versus what it offers, though I am overall a casual to above average in frequency user of such technology. I am bored to tears to those that tend to praise it in glowing light, and you don't have to go towards the utopias to find people saying the technology is amazing, it is miraculous, it does amazing work, and say that in a timber of v...

In Which we say Hello to September: Month of turbulence and also releases

Good morning, my friend, dear reader of this post, and I'd like to wish you a very happy Sunday, and a happy month of September. I couldn't write anything the past three days, due to much turbulence in my life. After a month or so, the month of August, I decided I do not want to proceed with this design course I enrolled in. It was a thing that started with much enthusiasm, but that quickly turned into stuff of nightmares. With that, after a whole semester of much unfulfillment, I ended my participation on said course for the time being. In short, I am not in college anymore, not for those days, or for the near future. I don't know when I should return to think about a graduation, I never really shut doors, and I won't shut the door on graduation, but I am much unhappy with the state of college nowadays. I did look into the curriculum offered in some graduations-at-distance of Graphic design, only to be disappointed with some of the disciplines that would go on the themes so dear to the left, that today reign supreme, unfortunately, on all branches of school. Alas, that is not the time for me to engage in graduation, I decided I will instead do a more focused course, one on illustration. I hope it may go well. And yes, we can only hope. It is an online course. If things prove to be fulfilling, it could open the doors to other online courses and so on. I did try to invest in it in July, but financial trouble and insecurity over if I can learn stuff online made me ask for refunds. Well... I must say, I am excited for the possibility of this new course. I also hope, in due time, hopefully this month, I can make on progress on digital illustration, to invest in my drawing tablet, I was wanting an iPad, no reason not to shoot for the stars. With that, I mean, I was expecting for September, we will have the release of the new Patch and DLC for Europa Universalis 4, that I am very excited for! Also, the new DLC for Anno 1800, the one that will bring more Airships into the game, I have expressed some reservation for this one, and I still am not entirely sold on airships, but well, should be fun... I wonder if their last DLC of the season will come this 2022, with the delay of Empire of the Skies... we can only wait and see. I mean, there is also new content coming for Airborne Kingdom, that can be interesting. I wonder when they'll release the new DLC and content for Cities Skylines, the pedestrian zones could enrich the game, and for that I am expecting to see it. September also bring us closer to the Spooky October, that this year will bring us Victoria 3, the most expected game! I had my reservations, but I must say I am more positive now, for Vic3. I mean, Ludi is worried about combat, and though I understand, I am never into war, even in games I avoid them when I can. I understand a bad war mechanic can make the game less... I mean, make you less at the edge of your seat, but those sweaty gamers of EU4 and Hearts of Iron... those warmongers that rush, do things so fast, so min-max. Guides are very good to learn the game, but I don't buy into the "rush for gold"... I mean, there is war in Vic3, for me that is enough, I am not there for the war, not at the beginning, and not for the wars I can't win... I am aiming at having my first game as Russia, and to keep the Autocracy going, God save the Tsar.

And looking at this superb artpiece, I am also inspired to play either as the new dawning nation of America, or as the ancient Japan, a country that was isolated for generations when Vic3 kicks in, but it could become an industrial powerhouse, and a true empire to sit equally with the European ones, as time goes by. I could play as Korea as well, and make the hermit kingdom bright once again, like I did some moments in Vic2. Oh! It reminds me, I could also bring the industrial revolution to tropical shores, making Brazil the jewel of the south, abolishing slavery and modernising the economy! As you guys can see, the possibilities are very cool! I had the opportunity to pre-order Vic3, with some money I had on my steam wallet from a raffle and also from some refunds. I am thrilled, I pray and hope Vic3 be as good as I think it will. The glory awaits if it is good, the doomed path of Imperator is on the other side, should it fail. I think it's time to bring this lovely set of words to an end, I don't like when I extend myself too much, and I worry that you guys may be bored, I want my friends to be happy! I really don't want to abuse of their good will, good will they certainly have, if they decide to enter the divagation store! So, I hope to be back real soon, and maybe September will be better and more happy and more productive than August. Happy September, make sure to drink water, coffee, and sleep well! See you again real real soon.
