In Which I write about America's Mozart: George Gershwin

Hello, sir friend, reader of this present post of the Divagation Store, how are you, this transition from Sunday to Monday? Hope the weather is alright on your end, it has been, on the northern hemisphere, a huge Super El Nino season, has been quite an agressive one, and I feel for everyone struggling in the heat, as I myself dislike summer a lot. The heat in the tropical area is a different kind of heat, but still, we share the grief of the most horrid days. Here, it is winter, and has been very amene, which I appreciate. It hasn't been raining as much, alas, but the days have been pleasant. I did mention that even the most fresh of days could not improve my melancholia. On that, I have promising signs: my appointment with my psychiatrist was very positive, given we decided to test a new medication into the prescription, that we will adjust as a next step in improving my life quality as a guy who suffers from OCD, and has to deal with the things that come with this horrible condit...

In Which I dream with a Wintery Christmas

Good morning, my friend, reader of this post! Happy Wednesday! I don't know whether to rejoice or to lament for the imminent arrival of Christmas day, because once it is passed, this will mean the height of the season will be gone. And soon it will be the unchartered territory of 2024. That being said, today, I am in good spirits. I drank coffee with milk, as I keep finding out, there is no better way to drink coffee, at least the one I brew myself. I have my errands to attend to, which is mostly the craft of the new ebook I am doing with the architecture office. I desire to maybe play a game, though not exactly sure what to play, next. This day is at its beginning, and I wonder what friends I will be able to chat with today, if any. And I wonder where to have lunch and hope I have some energy and will strenght to, if desired, do something in the afternoon.

Grandma's official living room decorated for christmas! Deck the halls with bags of holly and all the singing...
I wrote this all yesterday morning. Turns out, Tuesday was a rounding success! I could chat with dear friends, and what really made me rejoice was getting my first job payment! How amazing is that? I did talk briefly yesterday of the ebook I am developing with the office. That, alongside the money I received from dad, allowed me to do some christmas purchasing! Some new games for my Steam library, and my own keyboard! I won't have to rely now on my brother's hardware, which is a welcome development.
It has been slightly cloudy these summer days! I really appreciate the sun being less abrasive, though it is not winter. The day may be grey, but the heat is a summery one, the wind is hot, and the rays stronger. I will take the clouds to the open sky days, but I still dream with more fresh days, where I don't sweat so much.
This Wednesday, I arrived here at grandma's to celebrate the season. I would have come later, but getting a car ride to her place closer to the holiday can be very hard indeed. So I am here already. I like my grandmother´s house, bit I also like my own home, the apartment, because there, the wind is fresher and I have my own proper space. I like living with mom, even with the downsides, more than I like living with grandma. But that is tradition, you know, it is my personal tradition to come here at my grandma's to celebrate Christmas, here. It is a good tradition, and it is magical to be surrounded by so much Christmas cheer and objects, even if grandma can be grumpy.
As I mentioned, I got a new keyboard! Those are the good news. Now, I appreciate the gear is compact, but it is taking me a while to get used to the typing in it. I keep pressing the wrong keys! What a bother. Ah, if only this was my major concern..
I really desire to write some more for Christmas, hopefully I will update this beloved publication on the eve, and on the 25th. I don't know what I will write, yet, which can be a problem, but I hope I can assemble a nice text, worthy of the season. As for this present post, I trust it is getting to the point of wrapping it up. I have plans of returning on the eve, but if I have the desire, I should return earlier with another post. Until then, I am always so happy and humbled to have you around! Wish you the best, season's greetings!
