In Which Gardening Will Not Redeem Diocletian

Good morning, my friend! I am fighting against the desire to sleep, as I do want to write a post today. My eyes are so heavy, my muscles are all failing, it is like I am going to explode in exhaustion. And yet, maybe it isn't sleep, it could be anemia in any case, I hope you are in a healthier position than me, today? Of course, do let me know. And also, let me know how is the weather? Here it is one day of mild winter, which is so much appreciated. Fun how just being some centimeters in a different direction, concerning the planets, can make a difference! Here, it means the difference between a scorching day, and a more mild one. There could be influence of the ocean currents as well, but anyway, I would love to jump to today's theme, that motivated me to write. If you allow me, let is jump to it! As I mentioned anemia, let us turn to gardening, or more specifically, to cabbages and lettuces. I saw a post today that pointed that Emperor Diocletian abdicated the throne to go ta...

In Which we Welcome February! Start of the new Course and other Topics du jour...

Good morning, dear reader of this post, my friend! Happy Monday! How are you today? How has the weather been for you? As for me, I am okay, and the weather has been somehow lesser hot than the worst of January... Not sure how that would proceed, though, so I think it would be premature to say the worst of summer is behind us. The diminishing on the most awful heat must be celebrated, but I still sweat profusely even during sleep, due to how strong the sun is. How incredible, don't you think so, that the fact the sun is some meters closer to earth is enough to cause the hemisphere to feel it in such way. Some days ago I booked a visit with an air conditioner repairer, and hopefully he will come next week at some point.... truth is, I don't know if I will go ahead with the visit, because I don't even know if I'd afford to keep it on. I can only say that this is an investment for later, rather than now. For now, I could get a second fan, perhaps, as a fan costs less in a month than an AC...

What to expect for the rest of February? I say this because we are already 5 days in... This post was supposed to have come earlier, but I got sidetracked, alas. Have I mentioned my course has begun? Yes, and it has been chaos, on the sense the tutor responsible has not answered yet for the now accumulating messages of the students, waiting for some fixes and for things to be put on their respective places. I won't let this weight in heavily on this course, yet. This discipline is the one of February, and this is the shortest month of the year... Ah... this is definitely a breach in organization. There are students less forgiving than me. So... yes. We'll see, we are 5 days into the month, the shortest one, as I mentioned. I worked on two drawings, so that is nice! I also got two sketchbooks for summer... For the month, then, I hope to draw, to reaad my book of reading, and also read the activities of the course, do the activities... if I can chat with any friend, I'd love that, as well! Friends are a blessing. What games will I play? Well, I have Sims 3, that I have been visiting for a bit... We have some games I neglected and now that  may revisit, such as Pharaoh and Europa... I am not sure, though... This is also the month of carnaval, a moment I hate so much due to its loud music and vulgarities. I do hate carnaval... I hope those who want to celebrate this, just go away and leave me be. Mom will most likely travel... Grandma may travel as well, so I could be in trouble, as far as I'm aware, as I'd have to spend the season on my own, so that means lunch and food in general would be significantly harder to get by...

And with that, and also saying that I started wrapping up my project with the architecture office, which is amazing because I did it, and sad because I enjoyed working with them so much... I hope I may have the opportunity to do more work for them in the future... time to wrap up today's post, alas. I wrote 3/4 of it on the computer, so that is nice! With my keyboard and so on! It was a nice productive one I'd say. What is next? I hope to return here as the week progresses, to write some more about my daily routine, thoughts and ideas I may have, and so on. Thank you ever so much for being here, dear reader, and I wish you the best! Cheerio!
