In Which I recall the Dynamic days of the early 2000s and early childhood with computers

Good afternoon, dear friend, reader of this post! How are you today? Hope your week is going fine! As for me, I am okay, yesterday was very harsh and I struggled feeling trapped and miserable, but today is okay. Turbulence, as it goes. The weather is lovely, it dawned grey and rainy, and the weather is waltzing through fall and into winter quite marvelously! So, there is that... I want to wish of course a very happy birthday to two friends I adore, Mrs. J and Mr. J, as they are having their birthdays in close days from one another this April! I wish them such a wonderful new set of 365 days, and many more to follow! I worked on a drawing to dear Johannes, and wrote a message to him already, but I wanted to do some happy mentionings here as well. Much joy! By the way, here's the drawing to monsieur Johannes... That alone would be a good reason to write a post, just to celebrate my great online friendships, but even before I was kindly reminded of his special day, I had a post in min...

In Which we Wrap up October 2024: A time for Recovery

Good morning, my friend, dear reader of this post! Happy Thursday, and I wish you the best... how are you, today? How has your week been? Today is Halloween! How nice is that? Hope yours may be filled with sweets and none of the tricks. It is also the last day of October 2024! It is a moment where I just sit down and write a bit more about the month as a whole, a balance, to wrap up the set of the passed 30-31 days. I would say the month of October, in comparison to September 2024, was a net positive, and a time for recovery as a whole. After the major storm, I find stability again, thanks to the meds I take for my mood. I think I will enter November in an upwards trend. Truly, not to be taken for granted. I just hope I can draw something more this November, specially because it will be closer to Christmas day! I already worked on my christmas card 2024, and now I would love to have one more festive drawing, ideally two or three, and so on. Maybe, who knows, I will find time to write more on the blog-journal as well! But, of course, one step at a time.

Here is one drawing I did some days ago, a portrait to my dear friend Alantheus, that I am so fond of! The man that has the most kind eyes I've ever seen. He deserves the best.

We will have an Victoria 3 update this November 21st, another promising one. Not only that, but a new DLC has been announced for the same day, covering the British Raj on the indian subcontinent! I have played quite a bit of this game the past few weeks, maybe I will instead play something else, while the update is being waited for. I could try and return some more to a city builder, one of the Annos, maybe? I also hope I can be careful with expenses, as not to return to the position I was in the beginning of the year. I would not desire such thing, and with dad having his many financial troubles... Ah, dad, when I move towards a more sympathetic view of hin and his woes, I am reminded of why I have this cold approach towards him in the first place. So much of his issues are self-inflicted, and after a while, and specially after you have lived years with the person, you really stop from caring on an emotional level at least. The financial issues are a problem also with mom, though. It is hard to escape them, given how the brazilian state, this cursed marxist oligarchy, plunder on us of the middle class. But truly, everyone suffers greatly from their taxation and terrible policies of the left leaning, obtuse type. But like my dad, much of that is self inflicted, given the disgusting trend of socialism still is preferred here, amongst many. Of course, they are losing the ongoing war for hearts and minds in the country, but it is a very slow and frustrating process, of the individual type. The writer Nelson Rodrigues have said that the world will be dominated by the stupid, as they are in bigger numbers...

So, October closes on a good net positive, though I also mentioned the problems. And with the problems, my mother desires and has been pressuring me to find work, or intensify my studies, or both. That is an issue because finding work is a process and a slow one at that, specially for people that are starting on the market. Again, the socialist obtuse measures bring a huge toil here as well... in any case, the balance has been made. We should all just hopefully have a good Halloween.

With that, perhaps it is time to wrap up this entry! When should I be back? Hopefully soon, on the early beginning of November, to kickstart the other month of the Christmas-Holiday season in a good way! So, chin up and don't worry! I am always around anyway. See you again real soon, thank you ever so much for your so loving attention! Farewell, and happy Halloween once more.
