In Which we have Another July 4th to Start another month! Happy Independence Day!

Good morning, my friend, dear reader of this post! Of course, first of all, happy July 4th! Specially to my american friends, but to any friend to freedom anywhere, a day to look up towards, a day to observe, keep in mind! I did write on social media a small message as to celebrate such moment, it is one tradition I have for a while. The message is as follows:

This is an image vaguely inspired in a painting of the Rockfeller Center on their traditional Christmas tree and ice skate moment. I could not find a good quality image of that painting to share it here, not enough for social media, so I did have AI to the rescue. I just wanted something uplifting to share on such eventful July 4th, the day that represents America's independence from the British Empire. I say eventful because these are days where the cultural fight against the evil miasma of neomarxism advances on a million different directions, with such fog and speed as to being hard to see where this would take America and the world next... it is an unpredictable situation and with setbacks and gains in any turn one sees. Still, if there is a fight at all, that must mean normalcy, the side for aristotelian framing of beauty and the arts and crafts, the soul of liberty and free market natural side, that still has a chance to let be. And being let to exist, to win, because the side for freedom, one would desire, does not wish to crush any opposing force, but for this opposition to let them be. Sad that the ones that one to be left alone to be put on a position of having to struggle for their desire to... be left alone, but still, if there is a fight, perhaps still is present a chance to win. Happy July 4th to America and the friends of liberty.

I think even if the syntax is a bit odd, as I was hungry when I wrote that one first, it is still worth sharing once and once again. I wrote more having my own situation in Brazil in mind, than that of America, but it does fit on that direction as well, because the ever reaching threat of collectivism quite exists and is a very upsetting force, no matter where you see. Just this morning, I did receive a message from a pen pal, that deeply disturbed me, and is causing me to reevaluate the whole correspondence. He said he feels enslaved by "capitalism, by wage economy", to which I would snap if I would be this inconsiderate of the otherwise cordial relationship "oh, so you are so special as to just desire others to give you what you need? What else is there to be sought, given the natural state of being is that of poverty? Nothing is free, and any money such governmental apparatus has, must come from someplace, and that is one's pocket, one's savings. I am concerned over how easy one socialist firebrand would capture his mind, with the promise of brotherhood of men. He should of course ask what if someone does not desire to be a part of such group, and what such thing entails, at all. Just by a few moments of thinking, one with a more sound frame of mind can topple down his whole thought, one that is a dangerous one, that should be allowed to exist, but not to be let go without challenge if one comes, and one must. That sort of grumble is one of the many reasons my own country is in such a terrible, sorry state, one that sometimes seem to be only be solved if the good Lord decides to intervene.

Anyway, as I said, the attack comes from every single place, not just from the left, of course, but the left still is the biggest player against the ones that want to be left alone. Such are the times, but so life goes. This is what I have to offer for today, then, on this nice holiday of barbecue and with the sound of freedom. Just a text with my own ideas, once again telling my fellow conservatarians they are not alone. One step at a time. And I thank you for reading! And I of course see you again real soon, hopefully before next weekend! There are some stuff I'd have in mind to write on, but for today, the text is getting too long! One must let his mind rest from time to time.
