In Which there is a shy but perceptive trend upwards: Quiet good moments ahead? One can hope...

Good morning, my friend, reader of this present post!! Wish you, of course, a wonderful Sunday, Sunday of Christmas season 2025, the last Sunday for this chaotic year. I should mention that it is not a bad one, on the whole, but definitely a very mind intensive one, as such, exhausting. I could compare it to a very intensive town holiday celebration, where on the whole, there were incidents, but not enough to spoil the bigger picture.

Today, much to my glee, has been a productive day, after many other days where I felt terrible, slept through most of it, and when awaken, second guessed my every move, mind working much more than it should, I suppose that is the OCD. The reason why I am on a better state, I trust, is due to having all my meds again. And also, having access to the appropriate sweetener again. Not only coffee tastes better with sucralose rather than sugar, it is also the case that sugar is not exactly good to have as casually. I do love it and will never disavow it, but I also won't just have it all the time. So, just the meds allow me to be less tormented by my sorrows. And the sweetener allows me to enjoy coffee better.

I have good news to share, my friend! After several months, I finally finished watching the movie "Reagan", of the great president Ronald Reagan! Took me a long time because watching movies on the phone, as it turns out, is not as good or as enjoyable as on a bigger screen. There are more distractions, specially for me that struggles with attention. Thankfully, taking this long to watch it allowed me to feel like I earnt it, catharsis. And the movie is fortunately quite good! It is a beautiful and heartwarming tribute to President Reagan, and more than that, it has a beautiful message of diplomacy but with strong conviction. Reminds me of the doctrine of Theodore Roosevelt (though I am not really that fond of this other president, I consider him too much of a socialist), the big stick one, but with Regan, not with other countries, but with oneself and orher people around you, you have to communicate well and kindly, but make your values and interests loud and clear. It is a movie wirh a beginning, middle, and an end, and with an arc that nakes sense, too. The acting is great, the framing is also quite good. I think it is a solid one. And it infuriates me how much the specialized critic hates this movie. It deeply angers me, but I am of course not surprised, they are for evrrything president Reagan was against. I am on the side of Reagan, not partially but 100% in his framing, so due to their vicious words of malice, they don't mean just a fair accessment, but to bury us, to deny us legitimacy. It is desperate because we do see what makes them cheer, and as such, those cynical people have lost their persuasion entirely, their mistique is gone, and their institutional standing is running thin, so they lash out. The Wounded can be more dangerous than the healthy.

I hate their mocking and their dismissal, but again, they do rhat more and more because they have not much more left. They have lost legitimacy, persuasion, and on the culture war, they are in retreat. So they lash out. It is vicious, quite annoying, infuriating, but a good sign. And this is one reason why 2025 is not a bad year, just exhausting. It is not a bad year because culturally, the left, and specially the woke marxist left, they are losing, finally. Because of the fact it is not clear who is winning, given the place increasingly left void is being disputed by the different sides of the right, of the not-left, and of other factions of the left, this may appear not much, not certain, developing, but the truth is, the a-pop-calypse is a positive thing! There are good elements of the creative destruction of Schumpeter, though of course the theory is not perfect, it does not have to be, as here, it works and is a great example. Though free markets, which is the natural and good state of things, are dragged down by regulations, and undermined by malicious rhetoric, even a bitty bit of freedom is enough to cause so much good, so much flourishing! That bit of freedom is enough to make the whole world recuperate from distortions of socialism and collectivism. I dare not say "we are winning", given there is no "we" to begin with, no such idiotic phrasing as "we are so back", no such thing as this sort of "society", this damaging abstraction. No. "We" are not winning, but I see a good trend.

To close this present post, because it is getting quite long and I am tired of typing (though neither tired of sharing my thoughts, never tired of your company either): I don't hope that 2026 will be better, or good, I just want to nap, pay my credit card dues (I am getting closer to paying it all up and what is more, not making as much debt back!) and on the max, perhaps a new phone, but I think the trend is positive, in spite of everything. I don't expect a job, though one would be welcome (within reason), but if I could ask, I would love to not be hit by any bad news. No deaths, please. No ongoing economic collapse. A year that we can at least keep on going, and may God help us. I am not sure why I am writing in such terms, I hope this is not the last post for 2025, we still have two more days to go, but I just desire good moments and please, no surprises. I also hope I can return soon with more thoughts and ideas for the divagation store, I hope another post is in order before 2026 arrives, and maybe you will be there as well! Wish you the best! See you again real soon! Farewell!!!
