In Which we have 8 years of The Divagation Store! A day of novelties

Good morning, my friend, reader of this special post! Happy new week, happy Monday! How are you? Today is a special day, this publication, the divagation store, is completing another cycle of 365 days! Now, the gates of the 8th year are open and have been crossed, just in time. It is a milestone, and I have no idea how to celebrate it. The biggest celebration we've had was probably around 2019, and how I vividly remember doing it. Hard to top writing a whole fanfiction for my favorite show. It was a big project and I have not written anything since, it feels like anyway. You know, never say it will be as it is forever, but I still have no plans to writing another fictional piece, lovely that idea might sound. I am grateful I am *just* in time for the big moment, I was not sure if I'd even write anything today. Just grateful I can do it.

It was a big day in any case, because there was the Apple event for their operational system, and it was mostly about iOs 27. I could say it is an achievement to be able to make it run quite solidly on the old but quite sturdy iPhone 11 I have! I know some are grunting the same mercy, so to speak, was not applied to the iWatch or the iPad and their operational systems, but those are different territories I do not tread at this moment. I can say, so far, I am happy that I was able to catch the event, it was a positive one, the new OS developer beta does not fumble much, I have caught not many glitches. Most of the features are not added, because they would require compatibility with Apple Intelligence, but again, I do not care much for what I cannot have at this precise moment. What I can have is more control over the look of Liquid Glass! I love customisation, and specially under Apple's support, and as I have been an enthusiast of the new direction Apple took their User Interface, I can only benefit from such mercy, so to speak. It has been a lovely Aero revival on my end, and I am only sorry took me a while to get to this point.

I want to work on a postcard for the blog's anniversary, but all in due time. I did generate some images with the help of ChatGPT just to have something for the occasion. We should of course prefer the handmade work, when it is ready, but for now, let us not get ahead of ourselves, as I was not even sure I would write anything today, I was super tired. As the OS was released, I had to do all the installation procedure of freeing up space in my phone, which means deleting many apps and files, never nice to do so, but it is what it is. I did nap afterwards, and having the energy restored, happy to add some words of relief of managing to write consistently for this long. I do not feel catharsis at the end of each post, but having written them is quite a process and some become appreciated after a while. Just happy to be here, happy to have you, after all these chaotic set of years! Thank you, and thank God I can write still! I have an irrational fear someday I will just not be able to do anything anymore, I hate this, and fortunately it is not realist, but I do have my fears. Those are for other moments, though, today I want to just have my supper in bed.

Thank you for being here, it is a great honor to have another 365 days go by, and to go by in a positive way. I hope I can write some more this week, as so we can have more fun convos and enjoy this time! I cannot promise I will return before Friday, I hope I can, we'll see.
