In Which we Celebrate another beautiful July 4th! America Forever

Good morning, my friend, dear reader of this present post!! How happy I am that I can write today, and that I can feel like writing! The two are not exactly aligned, but today, is a special day in America, and the whole world should rejoice with this celebration! As such, thank God I can write, and that I am disposed to do so! How are you? I pray hope you are well? Let me know how did the week underwent! How is the weather? Hopefully not too hot? Where I live, it is winter, and another reason to be elated, winter is my favorite season, the colder the better, with the socks to protect the feet from cooling, and the thicker blankets due to the more chilling winds. I would say, perfect day for a July 4th, even if I am thousands of miles away from beloved America, the one of my dreams.  I don't know if I ever mentioned before, I think I did, but worth recalling: unfortunately I grew up in an overwhelming anti-american environment, and it was horrible on this aspect. Song of the week! In which we listen to a subtle beautiful song!

Following the album of the month, time for the song of the week! In contrast to the very upbeat and exuberant Confessions on a Dance Floor that I just shared with you guys, I wanted to have something more slow and subtle next! You know, those amazing eletronic songs are great, but sometimes you just want to have something more calm and heartfelt, and today, we're having this with a song I discovered this year from a wonderful artist I also discovered this year! Birthday by Luke Dimond!


As I said, Luke is one of the artists I discovered in 2018, and I'm very glad I did because he's amazing in my opinion, he's really talented and musically intelligent and his voice is sweet, calm, subtle and very troubadouresque, poetic. I should definitely make a post just on him in the future, but for now let us focus on Birthday, which is a really nice and sweet song about how important it is to tell people we like that we like them, and that we shoudn't just tell them in important ocasions, at least that was my interpretation of it.
