In Which I am torn between Three Books

Good morning, my friend, dear reader of this post! Happy Monday, it is indeed a new week, and hopefully one good one! How are you? How have you been? As for me, I am okay, one step at a time. I may have good news to share, even! I finally may be moving towards getting some work, which is exciting and also a bit nervewracking too. Nothing really major, which is to be expected given this is my first job, I definitely am not complaining, it should be a win! If not, that is also fine, ir is not like I am doing much at this moment, and I can use the money! Apart from those developments, I have been trying but the past few days failing a bit on keeping up creatively. I want to draw, but I have been on a bit of a creative block, which reflects on the blog as well, that is no good. I hope I can at least doodle something, but I do not desire to force anything. I have been reading more than usual as well, thankfully! In fact, I am torn between three books, I cannot decide yet which one I will pr...

Song of the week! In which we go to Budapest with George Ezra!

Hello everyone!! Happy Friday to you!! How are you today and how are things going?? As usual, I do wish you the best, and hope things are fine today, in this very sunny Friday. So sunny in fact, to walk outside you would need some sunglasses and a cover to your head, what a hot Sun the one of today... I miss the rain, and my sweater is there, rotting on my closet, because it's so dang hot here, excuse my language. Anyway, but it's Friday, what a lovely day indeed! And do you know what that means??
It means it's song of the week day! Yahoo!!! I had some trouble figuring out what song to recommend to you guys today, first I had no idea, then I had some, but got into doubt between some songs, but anyway, in the end I decided that it's about time for me to talk about one of my favorite songs today! And that is by one of my favorite artists: George Ezra! So pack your bags, we're going to Budapest see a lover put everything to lose for his dear girlfriend.

I first heard of this song on the radio back in 2015. The first time I can recall listening to it was me on the car coming back home from my painting classes, and the song appeared on the radio. I really liked it, but had no idea who was singing, and also had no idea what was he talking about!! For those who know the song, it's pretty hard to understand the lyrics for the first time, even for people who speak english! After 2015, took me a while for me to listen to it again, something that happened in the end of 2016, because Aaron Gibson, one of my favorite contestants of The Voice back then, sang this song. Later on, I searched for it and the rest is history, I feel in love with the song and later on, with George!
This is a very lovely song, when you get the lyrics, it really talks about love and what you are willing to do for the people you love. With its very unique, subtle and folk-blues pop tone, it's a rare song in every way, and a truly nice one! After all, it brought me to George Ezra in the end, which is today one of my idols, for his very deep hard to believe voice, and his unique personality. Everything you get to hear on the song, in a lot of ways!
If you don't have Spotify, do not distress! I have the link to the song on Youtube right here with me! In fact, I'll include two links to the song. One for the music video, which I consider to be really beautiful, and other for the lyrics, because you might have some trouble understanding the song, so the lyrics will help you a ton!

And this lovely song is what we have for today! Thank you so much for reading and for being here! You're the very best!!!!! I see you guys tomorrow!!
PS: And tomorrow is the birthday of my best online friend so I'm really excited for him! Yay!!!
