In Which I talk of Aero and of Blissful times, as well as the struggle against the mind gnosticism. God is Good, not the Demiurge

Good morning, sir friend, how are you today? As for me, I am okay, the week was one where I decided to bring my laptop to my portable desk table and use it reclining in bed. Not the recipe for the most productive week, that is true, but for several days, I did have relaxing moments, until decided to bring the computer back to my actual desk. I should do some desk cleansing at some point, even. Throw out some of the empty medicine boxes, I always worry to throw the wrong out, and there is this mysticism that the medicine will regenerate if I leave it there. Stupid, but at times this is where I gravitate towards. The weather has been quite nice if I can tell, we are approaching one of the best times of the year, which is the time of June-July! And then there is my birthday in August! How nice... at first I did not give it a serious thought, but maybe I could do another small personal Midmas celebration, for 2026. I know it has been an year rough around the edges concerning my finances, I...

Sketch of the Week! In which the author shows a fanart he made!

WARNING: THIS POST MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FROM OVER THE GARDEN WALL.

Hello to you, dear reader!! Happy Wednesday to you, and a good night as well!! How are you today and how are things going? As usual, I wish you the best and do hope you're having a good day with nice moments!! It's lovely to have you here and it's lovely to be here writing this post!
Regardless of anything, I'm so happy to be here in November, such a special month, no matter what happens, Christmas season for me is mixed with the winds of the season, is mixed with Thanksgiving season and it's mixed with fall and with what's left of Halloween, everything comes together, such a wonderful experience! I don't care if I'm literally melting here because we're basically in Summer and there's no rain in sight, the sun is so strong you can't go out without sunglasses, and the sky is so blue it's almost annoying. Okaay, I like blue skies, but the heat that comes with it? God, it's sad! I like rain... Some people complain about snow... I wish it could snow here, but there's something I like to say: the day it snows in my city, the Armagedon is happening the next day. Maybe one day I'll be able to visit a place that's really cold and see snow for the first time in my life, maybe even in christmas time, though I'd like to spend my christmas at home, just waiting for Santa, hanging out at the mall, staying at home, lovely stuff, lovely season, I love Christmas, the decoration is stunning. Just everything about it, really. Anyway... I'm just divagating now...
Now I started to think about the month that everything of the late year comes together, and how this bonds well with Over The Garden Wall, this superb show that I already watched more than five times! Today is Sketch of the week day, so I just wanted to share this fanart I did of my favorite character in it: Wirt!

It's not a perfect fanart, I'll definitely do other ones in the future, just inspired in this show, I took some artistic liberties, but anyway, here's my Wirt. And here's the original Wirt from the show:

In the picture from the actual show you can see the true Wirt, with his cone hat (mine didn't have one) and a triangular nose (something I didn't do either) and here he's next to the bluebird Beatrice, one of the characters from the show! This is one of my first fanarts to this show that deserves many, and I'll definitely do more in the future. Some of the changes were made on purpose, others I made because I couldn't do it (for example, his cone hat) and stuff like that. Anyway. I do love him.
A little bit about Wirt, by the way: he's an extremely anxious and sensitive person, who plays the clarinet, writes romantic poetry and loves Interior design. He's extremely insecure and very much aware of his flaws, even when he can't point it out to them properly. He knows he's only a human in a vast and often unkind world, and his realization of that doesn't do him much well, instead inflicts on him much pain. He has major troubles making friends and can overreact a lot. He loves a girl who sees him with kind eyes, but yet he thinks she hates him. Maybe Wirt is an optimistic romantic person, often being naive, even, who constantly forces himself to lower his expectations and his whole existence seems frustrating to him. But he is a happy person on his heart, and even though deep, he's just a really kind and nice teenager with a good heart, even though his mind tends to sabotage him. He has so much potential and as the show progresses we get to see that, not only us, but also himself, maturing majorly on the Unknown and being able to be the major hero of the story. He has a half-brother much younger than him, Gregory, who is like much of what Wirt is not. Like any youger brother, Greg, who is adorable by the way, can be inconvenient and annoying and childish, and they have a brother relationship, but Wirt cares for the well being of his brother, and many of his adventures happen by him trying to save him from any distress.
I do connect with Wirt in a deep level, I think we have much in common, for better or for worse. I think we could've come really good friends if he was real.
The lovely Wirt and a bit of Over The Garden Wall is what we have for today! What a gigantic text the one I wrote today... wow... if you're still here, thank you! You're the very best! And if you left, well, you won't be reading this anyway, but I think you're cool too! Thank you so much, see you guys next time!
