Quote of the moment Vol.2

“Any one thinking of the Holy Child as born in December would mean by it exactly what we mean by it; that Christ is not merely a summer sun of the prosperous but a winter fire for the unfortunate.” - G. K. Chesterton, The Streets of the City, The New Jerusalem

Highlighted Quotes That Caught my Attention At The Moment

In Which It is the Height of the Season, at last!

Hello, sir! Hello, madame! Good morning, my friend, reader of the present post! Happy December, and it is a happy moment, as I can now say in full force the beautiful Merry Christmas sentence! How are you, today? How is the weather? I am okay, yesterday was pretty bad, though. Ah... just tech issues, you know? I felt I lost most of my day wrestling against Sims 3, and I lost this round. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times and the results were worse and worse, until I lost all my patience. The future for this game in my life is uncertain, though I never fully discard something with a declaration. It has been a particularly rough season for this now zombie franchise. The old friendly ghost of the seas disappeared, and with him, the whole of supply of Sims 4, the door for this one game now for me is positively shut, not that I wanted it open anyway, that game is mediocre and aggravating. Sims 3 is so much better, and yet, I am taking, unoficially, a break from it. A brea...

Song of the week! In which we explore a lovely Christmas song with Riley Elmore!

Hello everyone!! Happy Friday to you! And good afternoon! So nice to be here! How are you today and how are things going? As usual, I wish you the best, and hope everything is going nice! Lovely month of December and lovely Christmas season, definitely so wonderful to have reached this time of the year! I still have a lot to do for college, and I still have to study, but overall I'm almost in my vacations! Before we can go over to our song of the week, I'm so happy to see christmas decoration everywhere, so let me just show you guys another picture of it, just some more details! This season is amazing for me, I love taking pictures, it is truly wonderful!

I love this Christmas bear so much, it looks so wonderful in the colors of the season, and I saw these Ixoras around, I had to take a picture of the bear in it, and I'm quite pleased with the result! Ixoras are truly amazing flowers I think, they're ordinary but honestly so genuine and pleasant! This is indeed a good prologue to our song of the week, that of course will be around Christmas!
This one was covered by one of my epic favorites, Riley Elmore, and recently released on his Christmas EP! Ladies and Gentlemen: I've Got My Love To Keep Me Warm!

Beatifully performed by Riley, this one is not quite known as other Christmas songs, actually it feels more of a song for the Winter season, but anyway, quite fitting regardless, and it's actually one of my favorites too! I first heard the version by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, which is also superb, but I loved that Riley brought this one to his new work, his music selection is really clever and knowledgeable, bringing both classics and more faded pieces of Jazz. His whole EP actually is a lovely addiction to the Christmas season, and for the year in general.
I really love Christmas songs, all of them quite please me a lot! Hopefully this one will bring more to your season, and this month will be filled with different songs for you guys to enjoy here on the blog! This song don't have a Youtube Video yet, but when it does I'll upload this blog with the link to it, plus the link is for Soundcloud, which is free, so it shouldn't be a problem anyway.
The always mind blowing Riley is what we have for today! Thank you so much for being here reading this! You're the very best! Wish you a happy Christmas always and hopefully I'll see you on the next post!
PS: Here's the song by Ella and Louis (on Youtube and Spotify):
