In Which Gardening Will Not Redeem Diocletian

Good morning, my friend! I am fighting against the desire to sleep, as I do want to write a post today. My eyes are so heavy, my muscles are all failing, it is like I am going to explode in exhaustion. And yet, maybe it isn't sleep, it could be anemia in any case, I hope you are in a healthier position than me, today? Of course, do let me know. And also, let me know how is the weather? Here it is one day of mild winter, which is so much appreciated. Fun how just being some centimeters in a different direction, concerning the planets, can make a difference! Here, it means the difference between a scorching day, and a more mild one. There could be influence of the ocean currents as well, but anyway, I would love to jump to today's theme, that motivated me to write. If you allow me, let is jump to it! As I mentioned anemia, let us turn to gardening, or more specifically, to cabbages and lettuces. I saw a post today that pointed that Emperor Diocletian abdicated the throne to go ta...

Song of the week! In which we go on a sleigh Ride!

Hello everyone!! Happy Friday to you and good evening as well! Welcome to another post of the Divagation Store! And also happy December and happy Christmas season! How are you today and how are things going? As usual, I wish you the best and hope things are going really well for you! As for me, today I did a test and I guess I was fine, though we'll have to wait to see what is the final result! Good news is, I might have a chance of not losing any subject this semester, which is a Christmas miracle! Regardless of my position on this course, this is a blessing I should take on my life! I still have a test on Monday, but gladly I'm also being able to celebrate Christmas and December and my semi-vacations, in my way and with the energy that I have available!
So, here we are today on another Song of the week day! And I just wanted to bring two versions of one of my favorite Christmas songs! Sleigh Ride! One by the amazing Ella Fitzgerald and the other by The Ronettes! These are my favorite versions of this wonderful Christmas song!

Sleigh Ride in the Central Park, by Childe Hassam

This very exuberant and exciting song became one of my favorites when I finally heard it carefully in the beginning of 2016, on the movie Joy! It was the very wonderful version sang by The Ronettes! I also listened to it on the Christmas special A Very Murray Christmas on 2015, which is a fantastic piece of Christmas show that I need to write about soon! Anyway, the song has everything to be a fantastic song of the season, and it does just that! I wish I had snow here, it's full summer where I live, there're no sleighs or reindeers, which breaks my heart, but well, at least I can listen to the song!
The more sober and jazzy but still wonderful song by Ella Fitzgerald is what it comes next! As usual, her voice catches me from beginning to end, and her interpretation of the song is really fantastic! I love jazz and how it suits the special season so well! Indeed fantastic! How I love Christmas songs in general!
This song is really incredible, and if you don't have Spotify, don't worry, as the have the Youtube link to it right here!

And for this post this is it! But there's an album of the month coming soon today! Yay! But anyway, thank you so much for being here, you're the very best and you know it! See you guys soon!
