In Which the Civ 5 mod Vox Populi has balance issues...

Good morning, my friend, dear reader of this post! Wish you a happy Friday, and an excellent weekend that is to come next! How are you? How have you been across the week? As for me, I am okay, overall. The weather on my end has been more consistent, as the days have been relatively hot over a number of them. Not ideal, I hope for more rain to cone at some point!  I, for some reason, decided to take the dust off Civ 6, and play it a bit. I trust this is due my Civ 5 current fatigue. Is it my favorite civ? Absolutely. But that said, as I already saw what I wanted on the vanilla, I did mention this time and again, I have since shifted towards mods such as the big Vox Populi one. That gave this entry a rich afterlife with me, specially as Civ 6 fail to sit well overall.  Alas, this mod is not a silver bullet to revitalize a game that I have play more than enough at this point. I am happy to still try it, but this particular mod has a huge issue concerning wars, which is borderline...

Art of the week! In which we talk about the Man in a turban!

Hello everyone! Happy Saturday to you! Good morning and happy Friday! How are you today and how are things going? As usual, I wish you the best and hope the day is going well!! How is the weather where you are? Here it is hot and calm, I am not a fan of hot weather, of course, BUT well it is what it is, I got the fans on where I am, so I don't sweat too much, and I'm enjoying what is left of the cold AC feel from when I was sleeping, I'm still debating if I should return home after lunch or after dinner, and lunch is about to be ready so this should be a decision I would need to make soon! And as I write what happens to me as it happens, I decided to go away just after dinner time, or after I shave, still deciding again, decisions decisions... I need to draw something but I don't feel like it, and talking about it I have a wonderful painting to show to you guys, let's take a look at it!


This marvelous work was made by an artist that I like, the russian Ilya Repin, I do love this work by him, he does beautiful paintings, very talented indeed! I love the fashion of this man, wearing a nice turban he does! Took me far too long to finish this post as I was watching a walkthrough of Anno 1404, a game I plan on returning to soon, and this is it for today, sorry for the delay, thank you so much for being here, you are the best, see you again soon!
