Im Which a moment of frustration gives rise to a new blog post!! Remarks on New Tradition, and why that alone won't do

Good morning, my good friend, reader of this present post! How are you, today? As for me, I am okay, one step at a time. Yesterday actually went quite well, even. So, at the end of the day, I don't have much to lament about! This is always a great and immense blessing! There are always some issue that weights heavy in my life, but that is a given. I do have somethings to say on the matter, more on that bellow, but no hurry! First tell me how is the weather? Here, it is very much spring weather, no more purely wintery, while also summer is announcing itself, much to my distaste. The months of winter are so pleasant, temperature wise! Almost makes living in the tropics acceptable, concerning termic sensation. The saving grace of Summer is Christmas, and the old summer holidays from school! As I am in college, I still get those! When I should work, it will likely not proceed the same, but the beautiful memories and the jolly decoration should probably keep my spirits high, anyway. Of ...

Joey and the Barbershop Incident, part 3

Part 3 of the Story is this one:

...
“Well, he kept on talking about time machines and his inventions, but he never got into much details about it, it’s secret, he said, what a funny guy he was…”
“Interesting, time machines… I know a bit about them…” Said Joey, thinking of something “Do you think we could see this Mr. Geoffrey you are talking about, right now?’
“Why is that, sir?”
“I don’t know, I have nothing to lose”
“I don’t know where he lives… But I may still have his purchase note on the archives of the barbershop… it tells his billing address… but I met him years ago though”
“We should look for it”
“Sir, it was years ago, I think I already have trashed it.”
“We should ask around, then”
“I think you may be desperate, sir… I don’t know why you want to see this Geoffrey so badly”
“I don’t know, I know a thing or two about those inventions… You see, they can cause all kinds of crazy stuff, specially alterations on dimensions and so on, like, teleporting people when stuff goes wrong. If my theory is correct, he may know what is wrong with my situation”
“Sir, I don’t know! This sounds madness!”
“I have nothing to lose, let’s go”
“Sir…”
“Do you want to help me? I’ll look for him with or without your help, but without you this is going to be way harder than it needs to be, Bjarksen, be my friend, please, I need help”
“Okay… come with me to the archives.”
They went through a door on the barbershop to a room filled with old paper, but not a single drop of dust. Walked and walked through it.
“You are very organized, Bjarksen” Observed Joey.
“Well, it helps keeping things running smoothly here… Let’s see… this drawer, if I haven’t already trashed the paper, it must be here…”
He looked for a while, and Joey looked around, seeing lots of nice shelves. He decided to sit down on the chair nearby, not a single drop of dust.
“This place is clean”
“It’s nothing out of the ordinary, mister… this will take a while”
Bjarksen kept on looking while Joey, relaxed, decided to snooze, specially because he figured, closing his eyes brought him here, closing again could make things return to normal. He snoozed and even dreamt, dreamt with his future, everything was blurry, he held a duster and tried to clean his bedroom, but the more he dusted the more the place got blurry, it was hopeless. Before something good could happen though, Bjarksen talked:
“Joey, wake up, I found it!”
“Wha, wait, what, did you find what, Oh! I see now…”
“I’ll take you there, I can see your car is nowhere to be found, let’s go mister…”
They went to Bjarksen’s car, an 1910 Buick Model 10, Joey could barely hide his surprised face, as the car was impressively old, a relic.
“Joey, why this face, is like you never seen a car before!”
“No, nothing, forgive me…”
“Okay, hop on. It’s a while from here, the house of Mr. Geoffrey”
Bjarksen drove quick and steady, seeing the address and going through the city. It was a beautiful place, flowers and butterflies to be seen, even if the place seemed industrial. The buildings were quite pleasant and there were also trees to be found, the sky was in a pinkish color which intrigued Joey.
“What kind of place is this…”
“Sir, it’s like you never been to a city before”
“Im sorry, I’m just not used to this tone of color in the sky, the trees, this place, something is odd about it”
“Well, I’m assuming things are different in Austin…”
“Not in a bad way, you see, just… different”
“It’s the world, sir, it’s too big, too vast. No one can comprehend”
“No… I quite agree… and we can’t see what’s ahead of us”
“No need to see that, sir. Don’t worry…”
The trip went on and Bjarksen drove quietly, Joey admired everything around him, though he didn’t understand at all what happened that day, and with the fact that he may never actually understand in mind. After a while, they reached the gates of a gated community. The trees surrounded them now.
“Halt! Who comes there?”
“I am Bjarksen, and we are here to see Mr. Geoffrey, that lives in this address.”
“I see… I’m afraid I’ll have to let him know you came here to see him, let me do a phone call”
“Sir, tell him I, Joey, know about time machines!”
After a small talk with Geoffrey, the doorman said.
“You may pass…”
They drove some more, and Joey said.
“I have a feeling I’ve been here before…”
“How come, sir?”
