In Which I do an Impromptu set of thoughts on a video I did watch on the topic of AI

Good evening! I was not planning on writing a post per se, I already did one recently, I usually take a few days to cool off, but given the material I will mention later, I had improvised thoughts I wanted to share! I ask first how are you. And I ask how is the weather. Here, it is lovely cool, with the cooler wind, and the kind rain. It is a nice position to write a post in. So, let us jump to my thoughts, this should likely be a bigger one. We'll see! As follows: Yesterday I watch a video of someone I appreciate, and it turned towards the topic of Artificial Intelligence. I have mentioned before I am not entirely sold on it, due to the costs versus what it offers, though I am overall a casual to above average in frequency user of such technology. I am bored to tears to those that tend to praise it in glowing light, and you don't have to go towards the utopias to find people saying the technology is amazing, it is miraculous, it does amazing work, and say that in a timber of v...

In which we talk about my favorite teacher ever

Good morning, reader of this post, and happy Wednesday, what a wonderful day of this month of September, a month that brings the message Christmas, and other jolly holidays, are near us! Fall season comes for the North, and I enjoy the last days of winter, here on the south. How is the weather where you are? Do tell! Hope is cloudy and fresh. Well, I got totally out of subjects today, but thanks to a friend, I got the ideal one, so this will be an appreciation post to my favorite teacher ever, that I'll mention in a second, let's jump to it. First though, since it's an English teacher we're talking about, I'd like to apologize for any vocabulary/grammar errors in advance. The ones I didn't commit I credit to you and others that taught me the subject, but today's post is all about you!

Zero Moustafa, character of The Grand Budapest Hotel, never knew where his mentor, Monsieur Gustave H., came from, neither whose his family have been. I found myself on the same position talking about my favorite teacher ever, my english Teacher Patrick M., I know he comes from America, my favorite country, but that's it, and I have a vague idea how he came to the mess of a country I happen to live in. It doesn't matter, he changed my life. One of the teachers that made English my favorite language, and contributed to my interest on the subject, his classes were a joy and I was glad to be in them. He once asked me about the book I was reading, my favorite book, the one on Catherine II of Russia, and I struggled to explain to him the "plot" of the book, so to say, as my english wasn't as good as it is today (not that it is anything to brag about, honestly). It were small moments like those that really make me smile while remembering of them. I miss him dearly. The last time I saw him, he went to the house of my grandparents to see me, and we chatted a bit about american presidents and so on, it was a wonderful experience. I recommended him the movies by Wes Anderson, that were all the rage with me back in 2015, and he watched most of the ones I told him to, which still blows my mind! Not only he did, but also talked to me about them!! I tried to have classes with him after I "graduated" from my English School, but it never came to be, unfortunately, and now he returned to America, and I don't know if I'll ever come to see him again. I don't have a picture with him, I never hugged him even, I was too shy to do so, on his classes I tried gathering the courage to give him a hug as to express that he was a wonderful mentor and that I appreciate him a lot, never came to be... I do have a picture of his nice shoes though. I was enchanted by them and asked to take a pic of it, to which he consented, another nice moment that makes me smile, I still have the pic on my feed on Instagram! And I'll post it here as well!!

He was warm and firm, brought life to a subject that would be a hard and boring one, and this brought fuel for it to become a very cherished one, even with other teachers on the matter, also good teacher, but that pale in comparison to Patrick, really. I am also glad we have many intellectual points in common. Thank you for everything, Patrick. For being a character on my life. I'm very grateful and will never forget you, that is for sure, and I hope I see you again!
Well, this is it, just a small homage to my favorite teacher ever, that with small gestures of kindness made my life that much better, I'm grateful for everyone reading this, as this post means a lot to me. See you all next time, and I hope next time is soon.
Thank you my friend NintendoEngineer for suggesting the topic, means a lot!
