In Which I ask if I have been Fooled by AI

Hello, my good friend, reader of this present post! How are you, today? Hope you are okay, do let me know if ever possible! I am okay, just here, trying to stay afloat in a month that has been intense, concerning the news. In my personal life, apart from the unfortunate gain of weight over the past late months, and some moments of deep melancholia, boredom, and so on, I am quite okay... what else can I ask for? It is okay, I suppose.... I mean, I could ask for some more relief from this horrid heat, I could ask my brother to stop with the noise from his bedroom, I don't care if he can play musical instruments, I prefer to have my music on-demand, and I hate the podcasts he listen to (and he listens to them with no earphones). Anyway... I have a good chunk of an idea to share, perhaps you will appreciate it! Let's jump to it, shall we? I wonder, have I been fooled by Artificial Intelligence? Did I ever consider it could be more than just a useful gadget? With the possibility of ...

In Which I launch a new thing I like to call "Best of Instagram (2012-2022)"

Good morning, everyone, happy Saturday, and I wish you the best always! How are you? How are things going? How is the weather? Yesterday was the height of corn season! We had a small corn dinner, but no fireplaces, because grandma didn't want them, no fireworks either... Kinda lackluster, but what can I do? The rain falls and the wind blows cold, and this makes me happy, as I like both of those things. But, of course, not everything is flowers and fluffy clouds, what is the matter of the day? Well: Instagram's new update is out for me, and it is... in a word: Awful. My love for the app started to fade through 2020-2019, and in 2021 I was actively through it looking for an alternative, and we've reached a point of "I can't take it anymore" when they "updated" their design to look something like TikTok, which is... disgusting! I use the "..." because it's hard to find words, I hate TikTok, the short videos, their communist party of China influence, and I've been very upset with Instagram for a long time now! Like, their clear bias to the left, it's been ages I don't feel comfortable there anymore. Also, it became like a sales catalogue, most of the posts I see there are not that relevant to me anymore, since many are promoted ads. Plus, my pictures, I suspect, are hidden from my friends... or theyre boring, perhaps? But I don't think they are, it's just that they are not liked by more than 2 people! Those are my aunt Christina and my Mom, and I love them both for their support and genuine like of my pictures, but just 2 people is a bit... discouraging. So, if I had to make a list of reasons I'm done with Instagram, I'd say: 1.Their Leftist bias (psychologically harrassing conservatives for ages now); 2.Their focus on promoted ads; 3.The Short Videos are annoying! I did find many great people through the phase I call The Instagram demise (2021-2022), people such as the username GoldenEraAdam and others that are focused on elegant clothes for men. I probably will still compulsively open the app, but I'll try to do it way way less, because their new update, focused on casual short videos, does not appeal to me, at all. It was the final blow. Unfortunately, I'm still looking for places to post my pictures, I can't find any convincing social media or place to share them. There is the blog, perhaps Twitter (I don't like Twitter much, but right now is in a better place than Instagram is), my personal discord server... I ordered my files from Instagram, the pictures I posted there, the best ones, my favorites, so to speak, I'll post it here, on Twitter, on my discord server, because it's the best I can do. I heard of 500px, but it is a paid platform. I really wasn't feeling like returning to tumblr. I've heard of Vero, also, but I'm not convinced of it yet... I will download the app, but well... Like I said in the title of this post, I'll be doing a "Best of Instagram" thing on the blog, where I'll go through my pictures and will select my favorite to post it here, there, where I find to do it. This picture of sandcastles will be the first one.

Castles, some time in 2011. Always been into sandcastles, this is not the oldest sandcastle picture I have, but certainly is the most ancient I have on my Instagram, back when I decided to do a revamp of it in 2014, May. I deleted many pictures I posted between 2012-2013, leaving only one or two, the survivors! So, yea... I also had an alternative Instagram Account, that I turned it into personal back in June 2017, the heydays of Instagram for me, and I suspect not only for me, because many people I've know had personal accounts back in the day. This habit is kinda dead now. Good to see those pictures again, as they are part of my story! This post is getting long, it was rambly, true improvisation. I believe I'll wrap things here, but do not distress, as I should be back real real soon with more thoughts, rambles, words, and pictures from my Instagram! See you again real soon!
