In Which we have the tone for 2026 more defined: Dialogue of the Jane Jacobs

Good afternoon, dear friend, reader of this post! Hope you are okay? Of course, do let me know! As for me, I am okay. One hour at a time, at moments I am okay, at others I am exhausted, turbulence. Never quite good, I think I will be above okay when I can chat with dear friend. And with so many dear friends, and I will chat for hours and will have stimulating convos with so many handsome people. I love handsome people, unfortunately most, it seems, do not love me back, but anyway... even if this good state that I envision is not to be achieved that easily, frankly not even to be that much chased actively, if I can feel somewhat comfortable on my skin and have some hobby on the horizon, as well as a soft place to rest my body, I suppose this is okay enough. What can be said... I can ask for much more but I also will not insist. Could be worse... it is what it is.  Summer proceeds, the weather varies from some days with rain and a bit of relief, and much more with the heat being quit...

In Which July ends and Life moves on towards a turbulent August

Good morning, dear friend, reader of this post!! Happy Thursday! How are you, this day that begins? How have you been? As for me, I am happy it is almost August, month of my birthday! But that being said, I cannot help but to feel worried, it is said August is about to begin with a huge set of events that may cause it to be a long one. On that, I refer to the fact Mr. Trump and the american government finally had a full grasp on the evils of the oligarchy that calls the shots in the territkry I live in, Brazil, and as such, decided to take the measures to properly deal with this despicable and disgustinf brazilian government that has been flirting with communism for so long now. The judge of the supreme court is to be cut out of the entire currency system of today, and the country will receive a severe 90% tariff penalty on its exports to America. I have a mix of feelings within me. I have hope that finally we the suffering middle class of Brazil will see itself free from the socialism of the brazilian state, because the backlash will result in the end of the current administration, it is to be hoped. But I do worry about the economic impact on my daily life. I want to see the country freed from communism forever, I want to see the president and its enablers in jail, for good. But I am also worried over the price of groceries and what is left of brazilian free economy. Times are uncertain, and I am exhausted of so many events unfolding around me. Not only Brazil is in a serious moment, when the cynicism and rotten humor of the oligarchs are finally met with the consequences of its actions, but there has been an absurd surge of censorship around the world. Whatever is going on?! In just a movement of the pen, the United Kingdom has significantly increased its online suppression methods, going on the direction of becoming Oceania, with the globalist Charles III as the big brother, and the labor prime minister of the moment as its enabler. It spreads, and fast, it is already dangerously knocking on the door of America, and in Brazil, on the top of all the terrible issues we face, there is the linger of tightening of censorship here as well. There is so much going on, so much bad. It has been an year of events, and we knew the left would not just let their power slip without a bitter and ugly fight. Well, the fight is here, and to call it ugly is to sugarcoat it. I think it was Frank Zappa who mentioned that the moment when the "fantasy" of democracy becomes too "annoying" to be kept around, the government will take down the curtains and the decoration, and guide its population into the brick wall, face against it, and it will be over.

And yet, here we are, here I am. Some say "why keep going when the world is self combusting?" And to them I say: that is the point, to try and hold it together, and to smile and to talk amenities, to see others purchase good things with joy and celebration, never resentment! At the end of the day, we all just want quotidian normalcy, no one can build a long lasting home when the ground bellow them is always moving, crumbling. Daily life better be calm, boring even, constant. One should try to go on, carry on, even if the external events come, even when the state demands gleeful submission, and the actors in that state take sadistic joy, they take so much flavor in their mouths in seeing others suffer, and because of them. No, even so, one must try and keep going, crawling if needed... that is resilience I suppose. It is where we are at right now.

That is my message of worry and hope, at the end of this post. Come the apopcalypse, and maybe even the actual armagedom, life moves forward. I am exhausted, I am scared, but it was an unsustainable situation that we were facing, and maybe America will help us at least move away from Iran and from so much of the crap that we have been submitted towards. This is what I had to say, and have been thinking about. Thank you for being here, for reading! God bless you, wish you the best! See you again real soon, I hope I can post as August starts! Farewell for now...
