In Which I Love Chocolates and Easter Bunnies and Specially in the Easter Season

Good afternoon, my good friend, reader of this post! How are you? How have you been over the past few days? I hope you may have a nice weekend! As for me, I am okay. Tuesday I had the therapy session for the psichoneurological exam, I still need to sort the internship issue, and also need to draw blood for my doctor appointment. On another note, I have not drawn much since finishing that big project I trust I mention another time, but I did work on a piece that satisfied me! Hopefully will do more before the end of March, but we'll see. As for the weather, I am please to say that the past two days or so have been more on the fresh side, thanks to the rain. I wonder if it can be kept until June, when the temperature will decidedly shift towards lesser heat. I am of course not holding my breath, autumn is volatile. Such variation means flu season is ongoing.  Before many of us noticed, we reached the end of March! To be fair, this time of year does not, in my opinion, passes as fast ...

Sketch of the week! In which we talk about a Christmas character!

Hello everyone! Happy Wednesday to you!! And a good afternoon as well, and a happy Christmas season!! How are you and how are things going? As usual, I wish you the best and hope everything is doing really well! As for me, this week is being somewhat weird, because Monday I didn't have class, yesterday, Tuesday, I had, today I thought I wasn't going to have, but it turned out I had, but things are under control so don't worry, I'll solve this stuff tomorrow, as I'll have two tests as well, don't know about Friday but I think I'll have this day without classes like it has being on this semester, and then I'll have my final test and class day next Monday. So, I will finally be 100% on vacation day 18 of December. I hope I can do as good as possible in college, this semester was not good to me, I don't like to appoint the guilty of this to anyone, it is complicated, but the fact is my grades were pretty crappy overall. I mean, I had subjects in which I managed to thrive, but on the 2 or 3 most important I didn't performed well. Honestly I don't have too much passion for this course I'm doing, architecture. Overall I just want a diploma, and maybe one day find out a passion I can work my life on, it's easier to think about this questions on vacation period because you can be overwhelmed so fast on the class season. Anyway, I wasnt too willing to think about this right now, it's Christmas time, the greatest time of the year, and I just wanted to have a peaceful December, get rid of the tests in the best way I can, maybe I can pass on my exams, maybe I'll have to take some subjects again, I'll slowly figure things out my way.
Okay, spent too much time talking about boring life stuff, let's jump into the post, for heavens sake! It's Christmas, after all! And it's also sketch of the week day! And I have a new character to introduce to you all!

So here we have Rudolph Wenceslas! Or Mr. Wes, for short! He is a amateur interior designer and has a very keen eye for details! His style is very Art Noveau with some Danish ring to it, and he absolutely love Christmas! It's his favorite time of the year! He particularly thrive on it as well, as he got lots of works to do on decorating christmas trees and building up christmas sets on shops that hire his services and on christmas houses of people, this is what he loves the most. In fact, needless to say his house get absolutely filled with christmas decoration when October comes. He doesn't ignore Halloween, but he just loves Christmas too much to wait until December, or even November! This actually became his trademark, and his friends know him for his enthusiasm and quirky detailed personality and artistic eye!
He also has a green hair, which is a controversial point, but people tend to like it!
He was born on this Monday, as I was wanting to draw something for Christmas, but also wanted to do a character, kind of a model for future drawings and some study on things I've been trying for a while now, like the heavy eyebags on the eyes, clothes with lots of details made using color pencils my eyebrows, and so on. The green hair comes from the fact a friend told me is the most christmas-y theme for the hair, and I think my friend happens to be correct! So we're looking of a season with many exotic hair colors! Which excites me a lot! Lovely Christmas season, it pleases me indeed!
And for today this is what we have, Mr. Wes! Our great interior designer! Thank you so much for being here, wish you the best, for you're the best, and I see you next time! Yahoo!!
