Quote of the moment Vol.2

“Any one thinking of the Holy Child as born in December would mean by it exactly what we mean by it; that Christ is not merely a summer sun of the prosperous but a winter fire for the unfortunate.” - G. K. Chesterton, The Streets of the City, The New Jerusalem

Highlighted Quotes That Caught my Attention At The Moment

In Which It is the Height of the Season, at last!

Hello, sir! Hello, madame! Good morning, my friend, reader of the present post! Happy December, and it is a happy moment, as I can now say in full force the beautiful Merry Christmas sentence! How are you, today? How is the weather? I am okay, yesterday was pretty bad, though. Ah... just tech issues, you know? I felt I lost most of my day wrestling against Sims 3, and I lost this round. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times and the results were worse and worse, until I lost all my patience. The future for this game in my life is uncertain, though I never fully discard something with a declaration. It has been a particularly rough season for this now zombie franchise. The old friendly ghost of the seas disappeared, and with him, the whole of supply of Sims 4, the door for this one game now for me is positively shut, not that I wanted it open anyway, that game is mediocre and aggravating. Sims 3 is so much better, and yet, I am taking, unoficially, a break from it. A brea...

In Which I spend my day Playing Civ!

Hello and good morning everyone! Wow, it's been a huge day of rain and thunders, since the early hours! I was worried about it, to the point I barely could sleep after hearing the strong noise for just a little while! The fright waned down after a bit, and I had to keep on going so here I am, writing this post! Not as early as in Monday, but still, I'm here! And how are you today? How are things? I wish you all the best, as I always do and always will keep on doing! It's the best I can do, after all! How is the weather? I really love rainy days, those are my favorite, and I missed them very much, also! I mean, I'm at the beach, so it's not as fun, but I can just enjoy what I'm doing as I was at home, which is nice! I miss streaming so much guys, and it's been only a week. I'll be back soon, so I hope to also bring them back, classes are returning though, so that's an issue, I'll just keep on going one step at a time... Hopefully it will be fine... Civ released a new pack yesterday, they added Vietnam and Kublai Khan to the game, I'm not a huge fan of Vietnam, I wish they could've added Portugal instead, but well, I enjoyed playing them, was a tough but entertaining game! I spent my whole day yesterday playing Civ, and it was quite nice! But on the downside, I couldn't write on the blog, to compensate the Wednesday I also couldn't write, because I overslept and the internet was down, a perfect storm! Even if the actual storm took a few more days to come in. To celebrate my time at the beach, I made some vector art I'd love to share it with you guys! Let's jump to it!

I made this one following this video Here! I found it super fun, and I love following those Illustrator tutorials and reproducing the art! I don't do stuff 100% as they are, sometimes I make some decisions for myself, but anyway... I should work on some more drawings also, the more I draw the more I want to draw, even if I spend days (even weeks at times) without drawing, I'm always thinking about it, I like doing fanarts to my friends as well, to pay them homage and show some appreciation! How do you guys like this art I've made (but that it wasn't entirely of my making)? Let me know! And thank you so much for being here! It always blow me away that there're people that read my posts, and at this point, being blogging for almost 3 years now, I have so many! I hope I can keep on going, this has been a nice little journal for me and I'm glad I write from time to time. Well... see you again real soon!
