Highlighted Quotes That Caught my Attention At The Moment

“The first fact about the celebration of birthdays is that it is a good way of affirming defiantly, and even flamboyantly, that it is a good thing to be alive.” – G.K. Chesterton.

In Which we have a September alongside Crisis, Ballet, and Christmas Expectation

Happy Wednesday, my good friend, dear reader of this post! How are you? As for me, I am okay... as okay as I could be, given how extremely turbulent the month of September has been, specially mentally. I have had days of much melancholy and boredom is corroding my will to live. As an example with what I have to deal with, conflicts with my brother become more rispid, as the distance between us mount further. Gaming brings no joy most of the time. I do feel like in a dead end. Energy levels are bellow 0, I am happy if I can get out of bed, at all. Fortunately, today was above average, so I am using this to write a post on the blog, I haven't had the chance to do it in a while. It was a month of low productivity, and given how depressed I've become, I am surprised I managed to do anything at all. How I miss dear Johannes, I wish we could chat at some point, he is usually absent, and we do not have the chance to chat most of the time. Fortunately, today was relatively above averag

In Which we talk about my Anno Week!

So, unfortunately I couldn't upload anything on the blog for the past 12 days or so, it is not an ideal scenario, I know, this happened for a couple of reasons, at certain days, I just couldn't figure out a thing to stream, at certain days, I wanted to play videogames in the morning instead of writing on the blog, at certain days, I wanted to draw something instead of writing on the blog, and some other days it was all of this at once! The main reason are the videogames though, and by videogames I mean Anno! That game just won't go away! You guys know it! I write about this awesome game every now and then, usually when I'm on my huge "Anno moods". I'm not like the Saxy Gamer, that plays Anno from 6 to 6 months, but I do have my seasons. What I agree with the Saxy is that when I have the Anno season, I feel like "this is the best game ever made". One of those that make you wanna change your gear just so you can play it better, one of those where you feel like postponing your blog posts just to play it! And every season, it comes with new things: this season I properly learnt how to build my own arctic base and get gas (and the pros and cons of gas), some layouts for houses, how to properly use specialists and Items, which makes Eli of the prison my new best friend on the early game, not only for the specialists he sells, but also for all the soap I sold to him for massive amounts of money! I was already getting a grasp on specialists and items my last Anno save, but on this more recent one, I took it to the next level for sure! And speaking of specialists, I also learnt how to use influence points, how scarce they can be, and why the Investors and the Palace are your best friends late-game, you wrap all your new knowledge to build a massive city in Cape Trelawney! Also, I finally learnt how broken the scholars are on late game, they can craft anything you need, as long as you have enough engineers and research points, they are so broken that makes the late game boring, even! I can't wait for the next DLC of the season, where they are bringing tourists to a whole new level, so the late game can get more flavour even! Tons of things added to my Anno knowledge, showing how crazy big this game can be! Anno was the biggest thing on this month of March! This, my new apartment that I'll be eventually moving in, spending sometime with Grandma... on the not so good note, my motherly grandparents were at the hospital due to Corona, but they recovered, thank Goodness, and I hope to see them again soon! Anyway, this post was just to tell you guys I'm alive and overall okay, the blog is also not going nowhere, and I hope to post more regularly this week that's starting! For today though, I think that's enough! Let's wrap things up, love you all, see you again real soon! Not gonna post any picture today with the post, let us wait for the next one, where I'm fully at my feet again with writing and stuff.
