In Which a Train of Thought is Kept Longer than it usually is... A short comment on the Nature of Work as well

Good morning, dear friend, reader of this present post! Tell me, how are you? How is the weather? For me, it is the coldest it has been in a year or so. 21 Celsius, and I must say, I love it. I want to enjoy every minute of it, it will likely not be as cold anytime soon. And I am okay, though again, a lot of mental turbulence due to specially loneliness. I am affected by trauma also, and I really prefer not to use such word, it risks raising the level of hyperbole, and devaluing the rest, but I have no other word for it, it is trauma, and it exhausts me, it is like a pike in my brain, I hate it, it hurts physically. Of course, when I write such vulnerable line, I risk attracting some bad thought by someone, that desires to analyze my every move. I don't like that. Instead, this is just about some sad events over the course of high school and hints of it after, with some bad interactions on social media. This is not to invite scrutiny over my ideals, they are my own in spite of the ...

In Which we talk about the Launches of October!

Hello everyone and good morning! Happy Thursday! The best day of the week if you ask me! Definitely on the top 3! How are you? How are things going? How is the weather? As for me, I'm okay, yesterday was a nice day, so is being nice today, played some Civ V, which is a good game to play while listening to music, that one is an old pal! Humankind is amazing and all, and Civilization 6 may be more dynamic, but none of those managed to bury Civilization 5 for me! I may play some Age of Empires 3 soon, which brings me to the point that I wanted to chat with you all today!

For starters, on AOE4, it's artstyle is already causing some division in the fandom. I don't like when things are unanimous anyway, so we shall see how it will end...

Age of Empires 4 is just a couple weeks away from us! Being released in October 28th (as far as we know, because it's a trend that games are being postponed for more polishing), it is one that I wasn't paying much attention so far, but that it might be a good addiction to the series! I heard some AOE3 personality saying the game is good, potentially very good, so that's exciting. I also heard my friend Mac saying it wasn't good and he is not excited for it. There is this division on the Age of Empires scene, some people stick to AOE2, some are more open to AOE3, even preferring that one.. We have all kinds of humans, that's the final truth. There is some controversy over the pricing of Age of Empires 4 as well, as it is much more expensive than the rest of the series. Some people point out that this is the standard price for "triple A games" (whatever that means), they are probably right. My wallet tends to hurt when thinking about it. I have other games that cost a lot as well, such as The Sims 4, Humankind was expensive as well (though I didn't purchased it, it was a christmas gift by my dear friend Nik6las). Anno is an interesting one, because the base game is expensive, but the DLCs are affordable, in comparison to The Sims, for example, who just got more expensive this year. Whatever the price is, I can tell there is a pressure for AOE4 to be awesome, not only in comparison to the other AOEs, but also on its own feet. I don't know if it will be like Civ 5 who outdid his previous Civ 4, or if it will be another Civ 6 where the fanbase gets torn in many things, it is hard to tell. I can conclude this by saying: please be good!

And on that train of thought, we have a new Operational System coming soon, also in October! Windows 11 really came as a surprise, even if I've heard rumors about it in the end of 2019, or was it beginning of 2020? Can't recall, but you guys got what I mean, it's been a while that I first heard that name. I never really got into Windows 10, and Windows 7 I feel got old better than Windows 8, so I'd like to see how this new Windows will play out. It's also coming sooner than I expected, not by a lot, but kinda, at October 5th! 2-3 weeks to go! I hope my laptop can be upgraded as soon as it is released. I mean, it's a new computer, so odds are it can. How about you guys? Excited for the new UI? Or nah? Are you passionate about OS stuff? I am not as much, but I think it's cool, specially because I don't work with it, so stuff like this are usually nicer when you aren't the one developing it!

Anyway, this post is getting on the long side, you guys know what I think about long posts, so this will be the last paragraph. And speaking of paragraph, I didn't even updated the quote of the week, such a bother. Hopefully, even if my schedule, if any, is more on the "freestyle" side of things for now, I'll at least update the quote of the week! You guys also know that sometimes it's something I forget to do, or that I'm not inspired in the moment to pick a quote, am out of ideas, so on... well, this is the end of today's post, I hope to see you again real soon! Wish you, again, a very nice day!
