In Which I recall the Dynamic days of the early 2000s and early childhood with computers

Good afternoon, dear friend, reader of this post! How are you today? Hope your week is going fine! As for me, I am okay, yesterday was very harsh and I struggled feeling trapped and miserable, but today is okay. Turbulence, as it goes. The weather is lovely, it dawned grey and rainy, and the weather is waltzing through fall and into winter quite marvelously! So, there is that... I want to wish of course a very happy birthday to two friends I adore, Mrs. J and Mr. J, as they are having their birthdays in close days from one another this April! I wish them such a wonderful new set of 365 days, and many more to follow! I worked on a drawing to dear Johannes, and wrote a message to him already, but I wanted to do some happy mentionings here as well. Much joy! By the way, here's the drawing to monsieur Johannes... That alone would be a good reason to write a post, just to celebrate my great online friendships, but even before I was kindly reminded of his special day, I had a post in min...

In Which I write for the love of writing

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday, I wish you the best! How are you today? How is the weather? I apologize for not updating the blog in some days, it's just that when I'm available to write, I have nothing in head to type, the ideas only strike me when I'm chatting with friends or just divagating, which is my fashion. I do miss hanging out on magazines and seeing their beautiful products... Sometimes, with online shopping, it seems like it's a thing of the past. I think it's not the whole story, though, still, going to a store and purchasing the product, and grabbing it right away instead of having to wait, it is the better option... Yesterday wasn't as good, dad was listening to loud music, and I hate any kind of loud noises. The dogs were also barking like the devil, my aunt have 4 dogs and they're pretty loud, which I hate. My cousin has another loud and very ill behaved dog, not to count with the 2 dogs of grandma, dang, when one bark, the others follow, and then you have freaking 7 dogs making so much NOISE! I hate hate it. The day of Saturday started well, but it went downhill during the afternoon, when dad decided to come over to the beach house... so, I've been playing Europa a lot these days, and I got some crazy games that happened to me, such as the time Ashikaga invaded Korea and their army got stuck there, allowing me to just waltz through Japan and become the Shogun, but that game did not end well anyway. Such a complex game! Everytime I play it I learn new stuff, which is awesome, the way I like it! I went to have breakfast and I totally lost my train of thought so here I am without ideas again, see how it works? Sometimes I'd start a post and got lost into it, finishing in a not sactisfactory way. But I just have an idea on how to wrap things up: Let me tell you, being emperor of China SUCKS! It is just awful to have to deal with the mandate of heaven, and if you don't own the main Chinese cities, you can forget about it. I had a game as Korea where I got the mandate of heaven from Lan Xang, and became sovereign of such region, but only in name. Well, it inspired me to try Ming China now, so I can properly save the country from collapse. In the future I could turn back the clock further to chat about Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty, as it is a very artistic person that ended up having a tragic life in the end... Oh China, so big and so much beauty and chaos in it. Much of its beauty is lost today, most of it. And so it goes. There, I recovered my train of thought! But the post is getting quite big, so I should end it, I should include a picture in the post before publishing it, because it gives it so much more life! So here we'll have the picture of Emperor Hongwu, of Ming Dynasty China.

This man, very well portrayed in this piece of Chinese art, was the first Emperor of Ming, his personal name being Zhu Yuanzhang. Defeating the Mongol Dynasty in power, the Yuan one, he became the most powerful guy in the East! He was famous for being brutal, but also being friendly towards private property and the rule of law, to an certain extent. These measures were fundamental on turning China into the most rich and prosperous country in the world throughout the 15-16th centuries, where the Dynasty Thrived the most.

Okay, I should indeed write more on Chinese History soon, but for now, I should bid farewell, and I will try to be more active this week, the ideas for new posts are definitely here! Anyway, see you guys real soon! Love yall!!!
