In Which I recall the Dynamic days of the early 2000s and early childhood with computers

Good afternoon, dear friend, reader of this post! How are you today? Hope your week is going fine! As for me, I am okay, yesterday was very harsh and I struggled feeling trapped and miserable, but today is okay. Turbulence, as it goes. The weather is lovely, it dawned grey and rainy, and the weather is waltzing through fall and into winter quite marvelously! So, there is that... I want to wish of course a very happy birthday to two friends I adore, Mrs. J and Mr. J, as they are having their birthdays in close days from one another this April! I wish them such a wonderful new set of 365 days, and many more to follow! I worked on a drawing to dear Johannes, and wrote a message to him already, but I wanted to do some happy mentionings here as well. Much joy! By the way, here's the drawing to monsieur Johannes... That alone would be a good reason to write a post, just to celebrate my great online friendships, but even before I was kindly reminded of his special day, I had a post in min...

In Which we say Farewell to August, a month of waiting

Good morning, my friend, dear reader of this post, and happy Wednesday! Dang, we are already at this point of the week, and at this point of the month! It did passed a bit fast, hasn't it? It seems like it was yesterday that I was writing about my birthday, and its moments that weren't so ideal. Well, now we are heading towards September, the month of the strong winds and the transition to yet another summer, with all that Solar Power Lorde sings about (I do like that song... I really have moved away, I feel, from pop music, but that song is really nice, I think), a solar power I do not enjoy, not in the least. As you are aware, August did pass with many issues, such as the fact my college life is indeed going to the dogs, in the sense of not attending classes, having money to attend the classes, or even the energy to sometimes consider going to the classes. The financial stuff was indeed a pattern of August, that I've been lamenting about for a while now, unfortunately. Apart from that, I've been burn out of most of my major favorite games, it doesn't help they've been teasing new content for the recurring month, only for it to be finally released the next, the 13th in the earliest. Also there is the iPad story arc going on, another one that require patience. And this dang chair that I sit on, not the most comfortable, hurts me bottom. It is a way I'd describe August, a month for waiting, where we did not have any really strong emotions, stability of humor... Something did happen at the end of the month, though... in this blog I talk about a lot of things, but I don't talk about my drawings regularly anymore, it just happened, I just had other things in mind. So, with the downfall of Instagram (that I never really liked for sharing my drawings anyway), I decided I needed a place for them, to talk about them, to share them, and here we are now. I talked with many people, and they told me different things, which can be more confusing than helpful, it was my call in the end, so I decided to launch a Patreon for my drawings. It is just a place to chat about them, as I chat about most things here on this blog, most posts being available to the public. I also created a new twitter account for the drawings. No, not a new Instagram, I am kinda done with Instagram... it doesn't help that this picture I edited, tried new things in it? No one liked it, 0 people in total, I don't know if the picture is bad, if the algorithim is doing its devil's work, all I know is that is really discouraging, but also freeing, since I don't expect anyone to follow me or discover me anyway... I can just do whatever. I had dear friends saying I should not quit on Instagram, or even start a, God forbids, a tiktok. No, I don't have the habit of doing ultimatums, but that place is out of the question, as I detest it and what it stands for, I believe I've mentioned it before, it is doing a huge harm to people's minds I feel... I mean, if they want that, fine, but I'd rather avoid taking part of it while I can. Anyway, end of rant, yes, I created a Patreon, where I believe most of the posts will be available for free, and I created a new Twitter account, just for my work. I will share the links to it rn:

I believe that is a good way to end the month, not only with a new avenue for my creative thought, but also with a portrait to Flo I worked on this October 2021, and it is a drawing I am very fond of!
