Hello and good morning, and happy Sunday, dear reader of this post, my friend! It is the dawn of the height of Christmas season, the week of the eve and the actual day! It is something that really brings me joy! I think I’ve said it before, I purchased some stuff recently, and they should be arriving this week before the grand two! I already received a wonderful hat that I bought some days before, and I’m very happy with it! Let me share it with you!
More recently, I decided to go ahead and purchase new brush pens for drawing because my old ones are losing their ink power, and that is a shame… I really liked those brush ones, I don’t know, sometimes a more thick tracing brings a nicer touch to the drawing! That, too, should arrive this week that is coming. Apart from that, there are my sunglasses, that I pray to God that I don’t lose anytime soon. They, too, should arrive this new week. And I say so strongly that I don’t want to lose them because I am usually losing my sunglasses, which is really not ideal. Not at all… Hat, brush pens, sunglasses, and also two new pieces of clothing! I don’t know if they really blend in with the unforgiving summer season, but well… I am glad to add them to my wardrobe. I hope I may also purchase some new clothes with my mother at the mall, maybe I’ll find something proper to wear… I believe I mentioned before, I want to dress better this upcoming 2023, and I really hope to do so, starting this endyear! Of course, it is discouraging to do it in the tropics, but I want to make a bigger effort.
Anyway… where will I spend Christmas at? Probably at my grandma’s house, and it should be a nice time, we are thankful that our health is preserved after some very bad incidents, so there is indeed reason to celebrate! Apart from the plans and the joy, on the videogame realm, I tested the waters on Civ 6 again, and the game is as frustrating as I remember it to be… to be fair, I was having such a good game with it, maybe I should return a few turns, because I was having a nice game (though the pacing of Civ 6 is frustrating, prevents me from feeling the history in motion) but I lost a city for the barbarians. Mentioning the frustration, indeed I tend to play it mostly because it is the recent Civ, I did mostly everything I could with Civ 5, as I have 2700 hours in it. And mentioning frustration, It is not ideal to be writing a post on my phone, as I am now, but I wanted to rest my bottom a bit after getting upset at Civ 6.
I participated on a Christmas White Elephant yesterday with my friends from the Super Happy Funtime Discord Server, and I had a fun time! I got a nice game, and I got to share DorfRomantik with peeps. So that is cool isn’t it? Dorf is a great game! I should chat a bit about it on a future note…. Speaking of notes…
On a final note to wrap up this post, kicking off this special week with a good start, I finally reached the season to test my new phone camera properly, and I am not disappointed in the slightest! Here is a picture of the Christmas lights at the tree, taken with little lighting besides the ones of the decorations!
I believe it is a very good result, specially since the 11 model of the iPhone is not the most recent. Yet, it serves its purpose so well! Anyway, I hope to return with a new post before the Eve! I am undecided if I should write something for the Eve or the Day, or if I should rest, if anything, there will be at least 1 or 2 posts before the endyear, where I’ll wrap things up for 2022 and kick 2023 started. It feels so weird writing this, amongst the bliss of the season, but well… Merry Christmas everyone! And happy new Week!
