In Which I talk of Aero and of Blissful times, as well as the struggle against the mind gnosticism. God is Good, not the Demiurge

Good morning, sir friend, how are you today? As for me, I am okay, the week was one where I decided to bring my laptop to my portable desk table and use it reclining in bed. Not the recipe for the most productive week, that is true, but for several days, I did have relaxing moments, until decided to bring the computer back to my actual desk. I should do some desk cleansing at some point, even. Throw out some of the empty medicine boxes, I always worry to throw the wrong out, and there is this mysticism that the medicine will regenerate if I leave it there. Stupid, but at times this is where I gravitate towards. The weather has been quite nice if I can tell, we are approaching one of the best times of the year, which is the time of June-July! And then there is my birthday in August! How nice... at first I did not give it a serious thought, but maybe I could do another small personal Midmas celebration, for 2026. I know it has been an year rough around the edges concerning my finances, I...

In Which we have a small Throwback Thursday with Screen Savers and CDs!

Good morning, dear reader of this post, my friend, and happy Thursday! How are you today? How are things going? I wish you not only the best, but also a wonderful Christmas week! May it be peaceful and wonderful as well! How is the weather? Here, it is as hot and miserable as it can possibly get, I might have to take yet another shower because the heat is really bothering me... It is a downside of Christmas season on the tropics, I suppose. I arrived here at my grandma's for the next few days, and I really hope they may be peaceful and pleasant. I should pray for it. Maybe this heat may be a nice opportunity to go to the pool? Who knows? I am here thinking on how to make my day better, could play some Anno 1800... still have a lot of cool things to do at Crown Falls, Manola, and the other islands. I could work in some drawings, once the heat subsides, I got new pens, so that is fun. Last time I wrote here at the divagation store, they were still to arrive. Well, they're here now, so that is really cool! I have two doodles to wrap up, and then I will move to another drawing, I hope! Another Christmas one, that is for sure! And speaking of Christmas and special ocasions, this post I am writing at the room where I started the blog! How awesome is that? It is my former Grandpa's Office, where at July the 8th of 2018, I laid the first foundations for this project that still continues to this day, with fortunately no signs of stopping! I know, it has been a while since the schedule for the blog has been gone, but it is what it is, as long as I have random thoughts that I want to share with yalls, the blog stays!

Speaking of random thoughts and ideas and so on, why not a throwback today? Do you guys remember screen savers? They were a thing till around Windows 7, I guess, It was a part of my computer set up to also set a good one for when you left the computer without use, those days having accounts and passwords was not as common as it is today. When Windows XP and its immediate predecessors were around, screen savers were indeed a huge thing, so this Yellowstone Screen Saver CD comes to play! It still is around somewhere at my grandparents house! Dang... Imagine that, today most Laptops at least don't even have a DVD Driver to speak of, let alone a humble CD one... Does it bring nostalgia? Up to a certain point, because CDs were sort of a pain, specially when I was a clumsy child, I'd not treat my CDs for games the best way I could, and I'd try my best, even!
I think this post is another personal achievement, because I didn't have much planned today for a blog post, and yet here we are, talking about stuffs that were a thing some decades ago, having a cozy Christmas time, I hope! I should wrap things now, though, the post is sorta getting big, you know how I feel about big posts, not a huge fan of those... I am also getting used to a new keyboard. I decided I don't want to use my laptop's keyboard anymore, so I got a separate one at the market, and I really like it, but still getting used to it. Anyway, I should be back at the 24th or 25th (maybe the both) to wish you all a Merry Christmas day! We'll see... till then, farewell, my friend!
