Good morning, my friend! Happy Sunday, I wish you the best! How are you this beginning of the week? As for me, I am okay, overall, so that is reason for a reasonable cheer. In this spirit, some days ago, I started working on the Christmas Card for the year 2023! I hope I can do a good job in it. I don’t want to put too much pressure on myself, as it always makes me paralyze, but I also want it to be a nice card, as good as the one year before. Apart from that, I still am playing Vic3, on the very challenging mission of modernizing Russia’s economy, and also making it more tolerant for other religions, specially other branches of Christianity. At the moment, we are a country with a strong state religion policy. If we want to create more education institutions, we ought to allow catholic schools, for example… and so on. More literacy means more will have more opportunities to lift themselves out of poverty, and they will be able to afford healthcare and goods and have a good life, and will be self reliant, and won’t desire for the state to take control of their lives. Away from socialism, and so, the USSR, in my world, won’t happen. We will have a Russia that is a safe haven for economic freedom and opportunity, and a vibrant alive society, completely independent from the state. That is the most important thing on my classical liberal/conservative moderate branch of ideas. Anyway, apart from Vic3, and I wrote about this game quite a bit also on my other post, I finished the Old Kingdom in Pharaoh, for the freaking 3rd time! In comparison to building the Pyramids in the Giza Plateau, the last mission of the old kingdom, Dahkla Oasis, is a walk in the park. Only the 5k inhabitants can be a bit annoying to achieve, specially if you want to employ them all, but apart from that, very chill mission.
A drawing of a chocolate bakery sweet I found on Pinterest! How cute and delicious is that?
I hope next week I can move forward on paying my credit card bills. God knows my mother has been very concerned, to say the least, about my debts. I don’t like to think about it, as I can’t do much at the moment, besides trying to restrain myself from spending, which is hard because there is always some necessity or desire. It is a fan, a book, a new charging cable… you name it. And not to mention the cab rides to get around the city. All of this costs money. God knows I could use a job. I may think it further on that at some point soon, though I also don’t know what I can bring to the table atm… sounds more like a wishful thinking, to say I can get a job. It is not that simple, in this highly regulated economy, in a soft recession, with a far left lunatic government in control… well… anyway.
I guess this is a good point to wrap things up for today? It was a nice post, I trust, a good balance of good things, venting… I am not sure how the length of it will look like on the webpage on the computer, but for what is worth, I did write all I wanted to do so, for the time being. When can you expect to see me again? As soon as I can return! I hope around next week, Wednesday would be a good estimation. Until then, I see you again real soon, no worries, and I wish you the best!
